I have been very pleased with the service I have received from Angels looking after my father. They provide me with the respite that I desperately need in order to be able to carry on looking after my father in his home. They're very accommodating and always manage to support me even at short notice. They treat my father with dignity and respect and he is very happy with the carers.
Visiting Angels have been a great help to my elderly mother who lives remotely to me. The carers have all been lovely, and have accommodated changes to their attendance in line with my mum’s needs. They are friendly, helpful and reliable and my mum enjoys their twice daily visits a great deal. The service brings also my brothers and me peace of mind as we know that she’s in good hands. Thank you to the Visiting Angels.
When receiving care, it is a natural concern to be aware that the patient is also happy with your chosen career to look after them. Your loved one is made comfortable on each visit. I am pleased to confirm I have no worries about the care, it is exceptional and they go the extra mile to make sure all is well. Suggestions made are acted upon and become a part of the care. I can honestly recommend this agency to provide the quality care you need for your loved one.
For the short time per week VA visit my son, the outcome is always positive and well received. The ladies always do their very best and constantly want to ensure each allotted minute is fully utilised. Their attitude to my son is more than expected and he enjoys their visits.
I am quite happy with the care given to my mother. I find them very caring, empathetic and very knowledgeable in their role. They're always professional and maintain good communication with myself and family. Any problems that arise are discussed between us to find the best solution. I would recommend Visiting Angels to anyone.
Lovely team of carers, nothing is too much trouble.
This review should have been positive but is not largely due to the management and in particular organisational skills being chaotic. The carers were in the main mediocre with the exception of 2 carers who were very good. Unfortunately, one of these people has left the company after a short time there. It would come as no surprise to find that they have a high turnover of staff as the management style is one of micro-management and effective communication is non-existent leading to unreliability. I would not recommend them or use their services again as the experience has left me annoyed and stressed.
Details of the hours of care provided were offered to the client but they refused them, unwilling to acknowledge that more care had...
Unfortunately, I had to leave this company because of management issues and not being able to deal with mutiny within the company. After the manager's departure, they could no longer fulfil my contractual hours, therefore, I felt I had no choice but to leave the company. If they can get the staffing issues sorted and communication sorted and hire carers that know about boundaries this could be a really good company and could go far but as it is at the moment, they are to continue losing staff and clients. I wish them well and hope they can get their management issues sorted.
Thank you for your review, I can confirm that there have been significant changes in the business, new experienced and suitably qualified carers and care manager are now in place, to ensure that standards are maintained. We are growing in a safe and secure manner, with new clients pleased with our care and support.
My wife became a Visiting Angels' client just over two years ago and she had been cared for by them to a high professional degree until her death in March 2023. Visiting Angels' carers are backed up by management and supervisory staff and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Been left with no care provision, without warning, despite apparently sending a letter but could have emailed as well, not professional. Very sorry it came to this but mostly sorry for my Aunt.
Thank you for your comments, we would like to stress that the care was provided within the information provided by the family, and notification was sent in a timely and contractual manner to ensure care could be sought elsewhere. However, we were unable to continue care due to the unrealistic...
This is the first time using any carers in my mother's home. Visiting Angels carers are supportive, caring, respectful and extremely helpful. They quickly built up a rapport with my 88-year-old mother, who was both nervous and anxious about having strangers in her house and put her at ease.
The only care company we have found to provide exceptional home care visits from exceptional carers. All the carers are amazing and go the extra mile. Five-star all-round service.
The brilliant and perfect cover for mama. Care and diligence has been delivered, and mama has been seeing a familiar face, of which is important to her. Can't fault the service in any way.
Thank you for your kind words; she is a lovely lady and an absolute please to care for.
