Irene has provided great care for my mum in the final days of her life as a live in carer. She has been a great comfort to my mum and the rest of the family, and she has treated my mum with compassion, dignity and respect. We have been very grateful for her support and care.

We were always impressed with the patience, care and skill with which the carers looked after my mum. My mum had increasingly difficult needs and it is only with the great support and professionalism of the care team that she was able to stay as long as she did in her flat. This was of enormous importance to her and we will always be thankful to the manager and the whole team for making this possible.

The carers were reliable and flexible, if I gave enough notice I was able to cancel visits without being charged. The job of a carer isn’t an easy one, I think that you need to be very specific about the things that you want and need the person to do. The carers from Ivy Home Services did their best but I did feel that they needed a lot of direction.

Care providers are very efficient and helpful. They are patient, cheerful and deal very well with my father.

Ivy Home Care are good at the jobs they do. Very polite, on time and they respect the clients. They always ask if anything else needs doing before leaving.
