The only thing the carers carry out for me is to empty my commode. They carry a receptacle from the upstairs bedroom and empty same in the downstairs toilet. They also clean and steralise receptacle for further use. They carry out this task diligently and cheerfully. I am unable because of a stroke to carry anything on stairs as I need to use both right and left hand rails.
They gets very anxious on a wednesday and sunday, as these are shower days. Although extra time has been given for shower days, the carers (not all of them)can be in and out within 20minutes sometimes less. The service user feels rushed and not dried properly. This matter was brought up previously had and the senior management informed me she had checked the carers sign on times and these were fine. I explained to management, I myself witnessed the time the carer entered and exited the property and this was no consistent with the allocated time.

Staff are very good, take time to ensure her hair is washed and she is clean and comfortable and ensure that she has taken her medication, the staff are very helpful and I am aware that I can call the office anytime

Lynn is the Chief Executive Officer of HRM Homecare Services.
She founded HRM Homecare Services in 1994. Lynn’s focus has always been her children and as such, she named the company after them (HRM-Heather, Russell & Mhairi). Supporting others was the kernel for the creation of the business in 1994 and an ethos of compassionate care and support remains the principal driver of all aspects of HRM’s service delivery today.
Diane is the Managing Director of HRM Homecare Services.
