My mum means the world to me, but I couldn't provide the care she needed on my own. With the help and understanding of Home Instead, the guilt I had has been lifted and my Mum thrives with the care and respect demonstrated by the care workers who look after her. Our carer is so warm and friendly, delighted that she's around to look after Dad. Elishia is fantastic, both Mum and Dad are really happy with her. I feel happy knowing that Dad is in good hands. The office has been very helpful as well.

We were looking for a short term care provider and wanted one with credentials. We found Home Instead on the Age Concern website and it ticked all the boxes. We were impressed from the start when two preliminary home visits to meet my husband were friendly, reassuring, thorough and geared towards his needs. While I was away my husband had a dedicated care team looking in to make sure he was OK, offering companionship so he didn't feel isolated and providing assistance with medication and any light duties. The carers were diligent, polite, friendly and dedicated with a care of duty that averted what could have been a medical problem had they not been there. They put my husband first, kept me informed, extended their hours to ensure he was not in any danger and gave me total peace of mind as I could not rush back that day. They are exceptional and not only will I use them again, I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone thinking of short or longterm care at home for a loved one.

The Homeinstead team have been looking after my elderly mum for well over a year, until mum had to go into full time care. They all worked together as a team to ensure the very best care. The office team respond quickly and professionally including keeping us up to date. We especially valued the App which records comments updates for each visit. Those who came to mums home offered a high standard of care. They coped well with whatever happened - finding mum on the floor after a fall more than once and extending the care she needed as she became more frail. The carers always arrived on time and if a carer was off sick a replacement, who mum knew, was always found. It is a tough job looking after frail elderly clients who often become very poorly. It was a very sad day for my mum to go into care knowing that she wouldn't see the team again. Whilst in hospital several carers came to visit her which she really appreciated.

As a service user for 4 months, Home Instead has delivered the stated aim detailed on page 4 of their leaflet. Carers are conscientious, caring, empathetic and consistent in providing assistance, invariable punctual on arrival. I found they provide transport for shopping, hospital appointments and visits to my GP surgery and willingly accommodate my three-wheeled walking aid. Brings home the shopping and puts it away.

The Carers themselves, without exception - are all professional and adaptable but, importantly, are kind and so obviously care about my mother's comfort and happiness. This is a great comfort to our family in such difficult times.

The carer continues to interact well with my father and is developing a good relationship. She is punctual and caring. The company have been very proactive in finding a second carer to cover any holiday times without disruption to my father's care.

I’ve had several care companies for my parents who have been disappointing. I asked for recommendations and was blown away by about five recommendations for Home Instead. I found they actually listened and have been so responsive and wanted to help. It’s so refreshing and I can highly recommend them enough. Thank you for caring!

This service was required to help my mother following a shoulder fracture. The carers were excellent, always punctual, very cheerful and helpful, and very experienced. We are very happy with the excellent service and will call on them if needed in the future.
