Overall Experience
My mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia in Feb 2024 and we struggled with her care for over a year until we were told we would have Eidyn Care staff helping to support & care for my mum.
The care from the first day has been excellent and the respect & dignity shown to my mum has been fantastic. My mum is from a generation that doesn't accept help very easily. She now looks forward to the girls visiting her each day . They have become part of the family and the ongoing support and help has been first class .
From my point of view as her daughter I struggled trying to cope with my mum and the diagnosis, trying to get help & support in the early days is difficult. I would be going round in circles most days and totally out of my depth.

Now I have the comfort of knowing that my mum is being well cared for . We have 3 visits a day and the relief of having this support every day has allowed me to focus more on having a better mother

Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased to hear that your mum is receiving good care and enjoys her visits from Eidyn. At Eidyn we aim to not only support our clients but also provide reassurance and assistance to their families, helping to alleviate the strass that can sometimes accompany caring for a loved one when their health needs change.

Eidyn Care have looked after my husband for just over a year now. What I like about the care is the continuity and that it's the same carers who attend my husband unless there's holidays or sickness. The regular carers who do attend to his needs have been excellent with him. They are caring, kind, thoughtful, very patient and good natured as my hubby sometimes can be hard going lol. The carers that we do have, work very hard at doing a very difficult job and they need to be treated with respect too, also they should be shown and given the appreciation that they so rightly deserve from the company who employ them. As for the work that is carried out even in the difficult times when there is a lot of absences and staff shortages that need to be covered, some carers go above and beyond to step in and help out as much as they can, they should be rewarded for this as it shows compassion for the clients and they are making sure that all care has been given to everyone.
