Truly living up to their name.
Over the last five years, Visiting Angels have been wonderful with my mum. The care they provide is consistently excellent. They support mum in taking a shower, make sure she's settled comfortably afterwards with a cup of tea, and always take the time for a little chat.
It's those small, thoughtful touches that make such a difference. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism give our family real peace of mind, and I would highly recommend their services.
It is heart warming to read this review, thank you so much. So many of our carers tell us how important it is to them that they have the time to sit and chat with those they visit. I am so glad your Mum enjoys this in her visits. Relationships really are key! Thanks again and please let us know if there is anything more we can do for you.
Visiting Angels are marvellous and staff go above and beyond. Staff are kind, caring and very helpful. I feel as if they are an extension of my family. I can't do without them and they are simply amazing. They will accommodate any suitable requests. I cannot thank staff enough and would throughly recommend them
What a fantastic review and a credit to our carers! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It has been lovely seeing you settle in, and if there is ever anything more we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out.
They have also recently taken him on a day trip to Blackpool which he very much enjoyed.
I would be very happy to recommend Visiting Angels for anyone that has care needs in central Lancashire.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. I know your brother's carers are very fond of him, and he absolutely lights up during Nikki's visits. Thank you for trusting us with his care, and please let us know if there is anything more we can do.
The care staff are punctual and work in a very person-centred way. They support my grandad with the things he cannot do for himself, and promote independence as much as possible to ensure he can remain independent in his own home. The management ensure continuity of staff members which is excellent as my grandad has built good working relationships with the carers who support him. This has massively helped him with overcoming loneliness.
The management team are fantastic. Any requests made are acted upon quickly and efficiently. The service is very well led, and responsive to the needs of service users and their families.
I cannot thank visiting angels enough for the care and support they provide. They have made a significant impact on my grandads well being.
Thank you for everything you do! We would be lost without you.
Thank you so much for such a heartfelt and glowing review. Your Grandad's carers will be delighted to hear how much of a difference they have made. I have heard them planning extra little things as they got to know him and what was important to him; it is so rewarding to see. One of our core values...
My mum has now been receiving care from Visiting Angels for 12 months, she enjoys their company and always tells me what they have chatted about, sometimes it's a little sing song on Fridays or completing crosswords. It's also lovely that she can relate to the younger members of a particular staff member's team. I am so glad I did a bit of research when looking for care, I made the right decision and would recommend it to anyone.
Reading this makes me so happy. All of our Angels set out to make a difference with their kind hearts and willing hands, and this kind of feedback means the world to them. It is such a pleasure to visit your Mum as she is always so positive and chatty. As always, please let us know if there is anything more we can do.
I needed to arrange care for my mum who has Alzheimer's and I was recommended Visiting Angels by a friend who had required their services for their mum. I have absolutely no qualms recommending them to anyone who needs them. Not only did my mum receive the care and support that she needed (which changed as her condition progressed), but they were very supportive of me as her primary carer. They were able to update me about her condition/needs and I was able to call them to discuss any concerns I had about her. I can't thank them enough for the support they provided to us both.
I am so glad we were able to support you and your mum. I know our Angels thoroughly enjoyed getting out and about with her, especially to see her enjoy a good cake! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts and to recommend our care. If there is ever anything else we can assist with, please just reach out.
Visiting Angels gave my son much respite care, for a week. He suffers from a life-altering medical condition that can be seriously life-threatening. The manager was very understanding, offering updates and was kind to my son. Providing a trusting/caring environment at home. If anyone reading this needs respite care, don't hesitate to call them for much-needed care and support. They literately are Visiting Angels.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are so happy to have been able to give you peace of mind whilst away. Supporting your amazing son was a privilege. Thank you for trusting us and please let us know if we can be of any help in the future.
The most important thing is that they care for their clients and make sure that all your needs are met with first-class attitude and real care.
If you are looking for a care company for your family then this care company is the one for you and I cannot recommend highly enough. You'll get quality care and quality time.
Thank you to all staff and carers at Visiting Angels, you are brilliant and my wife and myself are so happy we have you as carers.
What an absolutely fantastic review. Thank you so much! We believe care should always be to this standard and I'm sad that you've had to experience anything less in the past. We're here to make your lives better in any way we can, so please let us know if we can ever change anything to improve things even further.
The staff have made observations and recommendations without prompt we are so grateful to them, always feels like we have extra support whenever needed.
Worth noting, Dad wasn’t keen at all having people in the house he doesn’t know, all it took was the initial meeting of introduction and now he sees them more as friends and looks forward to them coming!
What lovely comments! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review for us. Your dad is so welcoming and our carers have nothing but kind things to say about him. They enjoy their visits and really do like to suggest the little things for him that make a difference. Please do let us know if there is ever anything else we can help with.
Dad didn't want carers but now accepts the independence they give him to remain at home.
It's fantastic to hear that your dad is enjoying his visits. The carer he has always reports back and shows genuine care and concern for him. We really appreciate your comments and, as always, are here if there is anything else we can assist with. Thank you!
All staff, irrespective of seniority, provided a first-class service in a very professional and friendly manner and would go out of their way to help us whenever possible.
I would recommend this provider to anyone who needed this type of face-to-face service.
We are so happy to hear that we were able to meet your needs. We are very proud of our team and how nimble they are when things need changing. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and if there is ever anything we can do to assist you in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I’m very happy with the care Visiting Angels provides for my dad. They treat Dad with respect and he is happy to have them provide a hot lunch and prepared sandwich for his dinner. We appreciate the light housework they do also.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Your dad is a gentle soul and is always so welcoming, our carers speak of him fondly. As always, please do let us know if there is anything additional we can help with.
Nothing is too much for them and they make the day-to-day life for him and his wife more enjoyable. We are so glad we found them.
Thank you so much! I can certainly say that our carers love your father-in-law's sense of humour and always feel at ease supporting him. It really does make us happy to know we have made a positive difference and if there is ever anything else we can do, please don't hesitate to let us know.
I have found Visiting Angels to be a company that 'hears' and more importantly listens to and responds to meet the client's needs. My partner is treated professionally with respect and care for his needs. The carers provide kindness and empathy for clients and our main carer is exceptional in her support levels and the lengths she will go to to ensure his needs, and whenever possible she supports us both fully.
Thank you so much for your comments. It is always an absolute pleasure to assist you both and we are very proud of the standards our carers deliver. We are so pleased that you are happy with us and, as always, are very eager to make any changes that will improve our services even further, so please don't hesitate in reaching out with any suggestions.
Very happy with the service of the carers and also the administration staff. No problems as any issues of times were changed and dealt with easily and smoothly. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind review. I know your carer enjoys her visits and it's never a problem moving things around to suit your needs. If there is ever anything we can do to improve our service, please don't hesitate to let us know.
Lovely team of carers. Helped Mum get ready for the day, with each morning visit including help showering, getting dressed, breakfast and tidying up. Polite, chatty and caring. Very much appreciated. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your review. It was a pleasure assisting your Mum and I know the carer assigned to her enjoyed her visits. If there is ever anything else we can assist with, please do not hesitate to reach out.
I contacted Visiting Angels when I had an urgent situation. They responded quickly and efficiently to help me. The carers are friendly and professional at all times. They prepare well-presented and appetising food. They deal with washing clothes and the dishwasher, without being asked. They are very respectful and Mum really enjoys their visits.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We have all thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your mum and it is a privilege to be of assistance to you all. As always, please let us know if there is anything more we can do to support your mum in maintaining her independence.

Meet the Team (2)
Hello! I’m Heidi and I currently live in Chorley with my husband and three children. I was raised in a family that reached out to help others at every opportunity, whether it be family or friend, or a stranger. I was taught to serve my local community, and this led me to serve as a Police Constable in Preston. Through my role in immediate response, I came to see that people have needs at a unique and individual level. No two situations were the same and it was important to me that everyone was treated with dignity and respect, no matter their situation or background.
I now have an opportunity with Visiting Angels to support people over longer periods of time to really make a difference. I want to see people accessing the right support available to regain, improve, and maintain the best quality of life possible. I feel privileged to be in a position to support families in caring for those that mean the most to them, enabling them to invest in more quality family time.
I love to travel and enjoy an increasing variety of hobbies and sports. With a sense of humour, a passion for doing what is best and a life-long habit of serving in the community, I am eager to assist and support people in whatever way I can. I look forward to hearing from you!
I have over 30 years of care experience working with older adults in their own homes, and younger people with autism and learning disabilities both in residential settings and within their own homes. I have a level 5 in leadership and management, and this has given me the skills to lead others in giving the highest level of care. Over the past few years, I have become a qualified trainer in health and social care, and I find great joy and fulfilment in passing on skills and knowledge to the next generation of excellent carers.
My passion has always been caring for others, ensuring they receive support that fits them. I love working with people in the community within their own homes and strongly believe that compassion, respect and dignity are the fundamentals in all the care we deliver. It is everyone’s desire to stay in their own home, where they feel comfortable and surrounded by memories. I feel it is my responsibility to enable this and to ensure that the care delivered is done to the highest standards.
