From our initial meeting with the coordinator to the arrival of the carers, I could not wish for a more caring treatment of my mum. Initially mum was not sure of receiving home care but the team were respectful and accommodating of mum''s wishes and continue to help her with all her needs from providing personal care, preparing meals, assisting with bits of laundry, collecting her Saturday paper and the list goes on enabling mum to remain safe and comfortable in her own home.
I am always kept informed of any concerns and the app is so reassuring as it informs me what has happened at each visit and means that I no longer have to worry if mum has eaten.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The care for our mum by using Helping Hands at Cannock has been outstanding. My mum initially started by having a few visits a week from carers and gradually these visits have increased to twice daily to assist with medicine, meals, shopping, collecting a newspaper and some friendly company. Communication is excellent, I can read about the visits and any issues online and if there are any particular problems we receive emails promptly. My sisters and I are very grateful to all the carers that visit mum and to the staff in the office that have all enabled mum to stay happily living in her home. Thank you

I have been using Helping Hands for mum for nearly 18 months. They have always been reliable. All the carers have been really nice and friendly. If they have been concerned about anything they always got in touch with me, even if they were running late. They would always date and label food that was being defrosted for the following day in the fridge, and write on a notepad in the kitchen what was to be used for the carer the next day.
Unfortunately mum needs 3 visits a day now, so I have had to cancel Helping Hands as mum can't afford 3 visits daily.
I just hope the new carers will be as good and reliable.

Thank you do much for all your care and help in the past 18 months.

When a rota is issued with timings, carers should make every effort to adhere to the times listed. Breakfast at 10.30 am or evening meal at 4.00 pm is not acceptable. when preparing meals please remember, as a general rule, elderly people do not have a huge appetite. Need better communication with the client before throwing away food and other items.

We found the experience of helping hands staff Cannock to be outstanding. The ease of communication was excellent and the service provided to my mum four times a day was outstanding with carers punctual, polite, personable and lovely with my mum who liked them all very much. The carers went beyond the call of duty and really showed they cared.
