Colchester Homecare have provided an excellent service for my elderly father, allowing him to remain independent and in his own home at the age of 93. The app information is always updated allowing my brother and myself to make sure that our dad is being looked after and provides some insight prior to our visits. The carers are always polite and friendly and chat to dad whilst providing assistance as he needs it. My father has had a few falls in the past and broken both hips so his mobility is poor and he is less confident on his feet. We receive a copy of the rota each week, so we know which carers are coming and when.We can increase support as required which is useful if we need to. It really is a terrific service which can expand in the future as needs increase. Dads neighbours have also commented that the carers are friendly towards them too.
Lovely small team of carers, which meant mother got to know them. Notification in advance of which carer is coming. Always prompt. I found the carers to be kind, gentle, and very caring. If they found a problem they would stay extra time and sort it out. Nothing was too much trouble. Management would find cover at short notice if care needs to be changed. I found them approachable, caring, and knowledgeable.
