Pride Community Healthcare

From first contact I have found Pride responsive, caring and professional. They listened to exactly what service I required and have accommodated the changes I have needed without fault. The carers keep excellent time and on the few occasions they have run late have been in contact with me so that I have not worried. The service is provided with a smile while allowing me to keep my dignity. I have and will continue to recommend the company of my local friends.

Pride Community Healthcare took over my Father's care in January 2026. Once Dad had got used to the carers he has built up a good relationship with them all, they are very polite, caring and patient with him. Their time keeping is excellent, which is re-assuring. The app keeps my sister and I updated with Dad's visits and scheduled times and we are able to provide him with a rota which he is checking regularly to see who is coming next. The manager and office answer any e-mails promptly and if ever anything needs to be added to the calls, change of medication etc, it is added to the birdie app straightaway. I would highly recommend Pride - Dad looks forward to their visits.

PCH are an extraordinarily good, efficient and responsive organisation. Their carers are efficient, responsive and thoughtful to my wife, my children and myself.

The care provided by Pride is, in my opinion, outstanding. They are punctual and provide top class care adapting to my mother's changing needs including changing times of appointments to suit her hospital appointments at short notice. They always treat my mother with kindness and dignity and provide a holistic approach treating her not like a patient but as someone they are genuinely interested in. My experience of the management team is that they really listen to the needs of my mum but also try and take into account the whole family dynamics. They respond to queries and requests for changes in care quickly and really go out of their way to try and accommodate requested changes. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pride. They are kind, considerate, compassionate, professionals who go out of their way to make their customers and their families feel that they are in safe hands.

The pride team have gone above and beyond looking after my elderly parents. The staff are excellent and the management are caring, approachable and genuinely care. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the Bexhill area looking for a reliable and caring service. They went over and above what they would reasonably be expected to do, and I can't thank them enough.

Even when the client was in our care the care manager came to visit spent time with the client this was off duty nice that they took time from there busy working life to come and check on there client nice to see the client smile when they recognised her. Took client for a walk in the garden and even found time to get to know some of the people there client had befriended in the home. I would highly recommend this company.

Pride carers go over and above to give our mum the best possible care; they are warm, patient and understanding, and communication through the birdie app is prompt and clear. This gives us peace of mind, particularly when mum's health dips and she needs extra support. It's very reassuring to know that high quality extra care can be provided at short notice. We're very grateful to the manager and the team.

Initially PCH were employed to provide companionship for my aunt on a weekly basis which helped her a lot in overcoming some of her worries of being alone. In recent months however due to problems of mobility she has been receiving care up to 4 times a day. The care has always been of the highest quality with the team going beyond expectations when needed. I cannot praise them enough and would highly recommend their services.

Pride Community Healthcare has been caring for my mum for a few months now and they've been excellent. The carers who come in to work with her are kind and cheerful and know how to talk to her even when she's having a bad day. They're flexible in adjusting to do what's necessary on a day-by-day basis and they've changed schedules without fuss or complaint. It's a challenging job sometimes, to work with someone who finds it difficult to accept help, but Pride have taken it all in their stride. I live far away so I particularly appreciate the time the manager and her team have taken to discuss mum's situation when I'm there and to advise on how to make life easier for her.

I would like to say how amazing the manager and her team are and have been looking after our mum. They have shown compassion, kindness and flexibility at all times. Nothing is too much trouble and they have made our mum feel cared for and us reassured. They have gone above and beyond their role to provide outstanding care and support. Thank you.

The care provided has been excellent, tailoring each visit to my Mums needs.

This means on occasions doing everything, but on other occasions having a chat and a natter.

The frequency and nature of the visits has been changed without any fuss and was easy to arrange.

The birdie app also allows us to check- in on how's things are at each visit.

Really happy with the service

The Birdie app is an excellent tool which provides us as family, peace of mind. The care has enabled my mum to stay safe and her independence. We can always easily talk to the care staff and discuss any changes or amendments needed to mums care plan very easily.

Wonderful service and staff who go above and beyond. Very caring and friendly. Always ensure to be prompt and on time, a very reliable service. They not only look after my husband but also make sure I am ok too.

Her quality of life is very much improved as a result of this service.

Pride Community Healthcare was recommended for my mother by our hairdresser. They have been brilliant from the beginning, and are punctual, caring and flexible. The app shows me which carer was present, what they did and the time they spent. As my parents are independent but forgetful, this helps alert me to items that might need to be bought and medication that is running out. The management is excellent. Communication is prompt and helpful. I feel I can raise any issue and ask for advice. Although my father is not the client, when he collapsed recently, my mother called Pride. The manager came out immediately, called back up, called an ambulance and sorted lunch for my mother as well as pencilling in extra visits should they be needed. It is a relief that my mother has complete confidence in them. Some carers are extra special and go above and beyond what they are paid for. The agency pays a living wage to staff which I feel shows they value staff as well as clients.

The manager and her team are so easy to chat with, they will also answer your questions you want to ask. A big thank you.

We found the staff from the care provider were punctual and helpful and ready to assist with most care requests. Our carer is worthy of mention although others came a close second. We would recommend the Pride Community Health care.

After interviewing several local service we settled with Pride Community Healthcare. Although we thought the need for care would be ad hoc initially, PCH were willing to accommodate flexibility from the off set. After the management helped support our father, out of normal service, for some rather panicked requests from him, we soon created a routine visits with PCH as realised the level of care and interest they had for our father as a new client. Over time our father grew fond of the PCH team members enjoying their support, care and often just their company. Even during hospital stays PCH were available to help with some local logistics when family were away from the area. Ease of contact and fast communication maintained our confidence in the service, which always provided such friendly and caring team members who you never felt were there to just check-in and check-out per client visit.
