Neways at Home - Home care & Live-in care services is a family run and CQC regulated service with family values at the heart of everything they do. They focus on finding "New Ways" to improve the quality of life for clients and prevent people from feeling isolated and lonely.

They were born from a small care home in Weymouth, Chestnuts Residential Home. With over 35 years of providing quality residential care, specialising in Dementia – they have developed a wonderful reputation and a much-valued service in the community.

Before they start, clients needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed at their home which allows the team to design a highly-personalised care plan. Care is delivered in a way that respects both client's dignity and independence, as well as providing emotional support.

The most important question during the staff recruitment is – does this potential member of staff have a good heart? Trusted carers go through trainings, shadow shifts and regular competency assessments to ensure they are confident to look after the clients like their families.

Why they are different?
1. Free & no obligation care assessment at client's home.
2. 24/7 helpline to support clients at any time.
3. Carers are carefully matched and introductions are done well before delivering care.
4. Clients receive the full time that they pay for, as carers travel in their own time.
5. Registered Manager has 15+ years of experience in elderly and dementia care in community

It was a challenging time when my mother-in-law became ill and needed further support. From the first contact, Neways explained everything and always communicated with us. As her health deteriorated, Neways were a constant support and increased the care supplied as required. Throughout her last day
all the staff treated my mother-in-law with respect and dignity and allowed her to live her final days as she wished, at home. We couldn't have asked for better care and compassion. My mother enjoyed their company and was happy to see them every day.

I have received the excellent care & attention for 10 months from Neways Care & attention & I have yet to find a fault in the care they provide. The carers are excellent in all the many needs which are needed. The arrival times are always on time so you can rely on them each day. The carer also does
household & shopping jobs, which are very appreciated by clients which are unable to do these tasks. The office is managed by a very special lady & a call from a client is always answered.as soon as possible with a reply. Plus there are also multitude of tasks to be done. I would recommend. Neways home care to anyone in need of loving care & understanding.

My 91 year old mother-in-law + disabled sister-in-law have been clients of Neways at Home since December 2024 after transferring from another care company.
The care they have both received from Neways is exemplary all the care workers are so kind, nothing is too much trouble. I cannot fault them, +
only wish we had transferred sooner.

We are so grateful we found Neways at Home to care for our Mum. The carers were friendly, cheerful, professional, totally reliable and - most importantly - extremely kind and caring. They were supportive of us as family carers, and especially helpful whenever Mum was poorly. They were knowledgeable
and able to offer advice on all aspects of care, with everything quietly and efficiently overseen and organised by the care manager. Thank you Neways!

Neways at Home not only provide excellent care for my dad but also support to us as a family.
Having the same regular carers means that small changes are noticed and acted upon and, where these are medical in nature, Neways are quick to respond and seek appropriate help.
I have found the carers to
be patient and thoughtful. They have taken care to get to know my dad and understand how to approach his care needs where there might otherwise be resistance.
There is good communication between the carers, management and the family and I have found Neways to be proactive in suggesting ways that will further support Dad's emerging needs.
I can highly recommend them.

We are very pleased with the care that is being given to our mother. It has made her life much more comfortable and that has helped her be more relaxed. The addition of transport to, and support with, appointments away from home has also been a great help as well. It is just a shame that we cannot set
up a direct debit to pay for the services and seem to have a small problem contacting the office to make payment by phone.
Reply from Hannah Coles, Manager at Neways at Home (Home Care & Live-in Care)Thank you Chris for your time taken to give such a good review. We are always happy to help with appointments, shopping visits, etc. We are looking into ways of improving the payments especially with Direct Debit. We are currently looking for a bigger and better office space to improve our telephone payment systems.

My experience with home care was wholly positive from beginning to end. Home care came to my help without any if’s or buts when all doors were closed to me. The carer who came to care for my sister was a delightful person, very caring and professional. Not only did she care for my poor ailing sister,
but she was concerned also for myself.

I have nothing but praise for the carers that attend to Mum. Your attention to detail is second to none. I really appreciate the fact that if any changes in Mum's health occurs the GP is informed and if necessary, an appointment is made or medication is collected if it needs to be. Everyone that comes
to Mum works to a very high standard and nothing ever seems to phase them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you all to anybody.
