Seven Hills have been providing daily home visits to my Mum for a few years. The staff are very caring, look after the medication / prescription side of things and are happy to carry out any particular tasks that Mum needs. Mum is very comfortable with Seven Hills which matters to the family. Their
ability to flex the timing of particular visits around medical appointments has been appreciated, and the communication with myself/brothers has also been very good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seven Hills.

We've been using sevenhills for over 5 years. They first cared for my Dad when he was suffering from dementia, after Dad passed away, as a family we decided to keep using sevenhills for our mum's care.
The service we receive is excellent. The staff we have are extremely friendly and kind, nothing is
too much trouble. They carry out any job that mum requires or asks to be done. They're also flexible with calls, especially when you have appointments or going out.

Unfortunately I was involved in a nasty car accident a few months ago and I couldn't see mum as much, and do the things I normally do for her, sevenhills have been excellent in helping out with extra duties eg cleaning, washing ect. I can't thank them enough.
I certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend sevenhills to family and freinds . I know mum is completely safe and happy in their
care.

The care company lie about a lot of when in the hospital they don't take home on Friday, Saturday and Sundays they don't tell you that until there in the hospital, if your in more than 3 times which old people are prone to catching infections easily they will just get rid of you without notice. Some
of the carers are lovely and some still need a little training.
Reply from Charles May, Director/ NI at Seven Hills HomecareWe take all feedback seriously; however, the statements made in your message are grossly inaccurate and do not reflect the facts of either the true situation or how our service operates.

Regarding hospital dischargers nowhere in our policies or procedures does it state we serve notice if someone is admitted into hospital regardless of how many admissions and dischargers, we gave valid reasons (which was accepted by CHC Continuing Health Care) and agreed to the standard notice period of 1 month, however your new provider was able to commence sooner.

All our care workers are fully trained up-to the required level and above.

We pride ourselves on transparency, correct discharge procedures, and the consistent training of all our employees.

Both Seven Hills and CHC have no concerns and therefore consider this matter closed.

Seven Hills Homecare provided end-of-life home care for my mother and I can only say how amazing they were. They treated her with utter kindness and dignity and were professional throughout. They made an extremely difficult time all that much better, and for that, I owe them a sincere debt of gratitude.

Our mum has only recently needed home care. For myself and my brother, handing over responsibility for medication and personal care was difficult. We need not have worried. The staff are excellent in every way. I write this on the day that snow has caused mayhem in South Yorkshire. I can’t tell you
the relief when the phone rang this morning and Mum said the carer had arrived on time and her much-needed medication and personal care given. I could list more examples of them going above and beyond in order to help her. But instead, just say a big thank you.
Reply from Deborah May, Manager at Seven Hills HomecareHi, what lovely kind words; we value our staff and mirror what you wrote in your review, and our carers and office staff do go above and beyond and couldn't wish for a better team.
Thank you.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.1 (8.083) out of 10 for Seven Hills Homecare is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.083 for Seven Hills Homecare is calculated as follows: ( (18 Excellents x 5) + (2 Poors x 2) + (4 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 4.083
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Seven Hills Homecare is based on 3 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 4
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
