We are delighted to hear how highly you think of the Gateshead Branch and the care team supporting you. It is wonderful to know that the carers are polite, attentive, kind, caring and compassionate, and that any issues...
The office has also always responded quickly to any requests.
There have been a couple of issues with Friday's cleaning/domestic task visit, but this is partially due to my mother!
We are pleased to hear that your mother has been receiving cheerful and helpful support from the carers, and that on the occasion when she experienced a fall, the carer stayed with her until the situation was...
We used Helping Hands for the first time to oversee our mother whilst on holiday recently. Mam is 95 and still lives independently. She had 3 visits in the time we were away and on our return we were delighted to hear how impressed Mam was with the service. She admitted she had been apprehensive to having more new faces coming through the door but she needed not to worry. The girls were pleasant, friendly and so obliging. I contacted Helping Hands to complement as unfortunately these days there is too much negativity.
A very positive experience for Mam and would highly recommend.
I have been using Helping Hands Home Care for over 3 years for my Mum and have had no complaints at all. I've been very happy with the service. The carers are friendly and are very willing to help and give support wherever necessary. Many thanks for everyhing
As a family, we have been delighted with the care received by my mother and support to my father. The care had been delivered well, professionally and in a caring compassionate way. The team are responsive and communicates well.
From our initial phone call with the manager, we felt welcome and that our needs were listened to.
When the manager came out to visit us at home we felt reassured that the care we received would meet our individual requirements.
The care and attention taken to ensure the details that are important to us were/are included in the care provided again by a brilliant team of care workers has given us the confidence and support to help us through a really difficult time.
As a partner of someone with Dementia, I feel grateful and lucky to be involved by such a caring and professional team.
With me living away it has been a very stressful time for me, to ensure that Mum has regular and reliable support and care. I have found that no request is too small or large for the team which puts my mind at ease. They treat Mum with the utmost respect, care and dignity and she looks forward to their visits and little trips out!
Helping Hands are my eyes on the ground and they have spotted things and fixed them before they became big issues. The office support is amazing too.
Thanks so much!
Our requests are always met with the same enthusiastic response, and then carried out by diligent & caring staff.
Even out of hours complex requests handled with aplomb.
‘Above & beyond’ is what springs to mind.
On behalf of our Dad, thanks a million.
Our mum has dementia and we used Helping Hands for home care and also extra support when our mum moved into assisted living. All I can say is they were absolutely amazing! They supported me and my sister throughout the whole time we used them, they were always there to advise and help us on the phone and direct us to places we could find more help/information when needed. My mum loved all the carers, they spent so much time getting to know her and we always knew she was in safe hands. We would highly recommend the whole team at Helping Hands!

I have worked with Helping Hands since December 2022. I started as a carer and I am now a Branch Care Manager. I am proud to be in a position to help keep people at home for as long as possible. We go above and beyond for all of our customers.
I am outgoing, love to read, and most of all, I have really good times with my family and friends.
