I am very pleased with the service given to my wife. The carers are always polite and treat my wife with dignity and respect. I only wish they could let me know in advance, what time on the weekends they will be coming in the morning, so that I can give my wife her breakfast before hand, if they are late, or after if they are early. I could plan my weekends more if I was told earlier.

Carers are very good with my wife, they talk and joke with her, they are restricted to what they can do with her as she cannot eat, they constantly tell me off for not using the appliances to help lift her. They ask if there is anything she wants; which is usually a cup of tea and Larry the Lamb warmer put in the microwave.

The level of care we receive is truly wonderful. Our carers are lovely and polite. They show a great level of understanding of our needs and often offer advice to us when they think it is necessary. I feel that Hartwig is doing their best to accommodate my needs and mostly the care workers do. However, it is very frustrating when yet another new carer turns up and doesn't appear to have read the notes on the Hartwig app about the particular requirements of the job. I know Hartwig said they are trying to give me continuity and I believe they are but it is not satisfactory on many occasions. It is easy to contact Hartwig team which is good and they always respond well when my daughter contacts them.

Finally got a call back from the Branch Manager after contacting head office to be talked down to, refused to let me speak freely and said they were too busy to speak and call takers would deal with problems.
Unfortunately all I ever got from the call centre was that they would pass the information over to the coordinator and she would call me back.

We have been with this care provider for nearly a year now and have been very pleased with the service provided. My mum's carers have been friendly, very caring and professional. They look after my mum's needs perfectly. Her main weekly carers are excellent, as are her weekend ones as well. Carers always greet me with a smile when they arrive and are always polite. They do my breakfast and lunch, as I have poor mobility and can't carry anything, they bring my food in on a tray. Make me cold drinks and put them in fridge and take my rubbish to put in the bin. I wash and dress myself so I haven't needed personal care. I appreciate the support I've been given. Carers spend a lot of time on the phone filling in their report.

Up to May the 22nd the service I have received is good. Very helpful and always very obliging if anything needs doing. The carers I have are very cheerful and are a pleasure to see every day. I can't complain really about anything. I am well satisfied.

Overall satisfied but lately worried that relief carers are not performing as expected in the care of my mother. I'd arranged with Hartwig that the allocated time caring for my mother would be increased from 30 mins to 45 min as requested by my mother's normal carer, unfortunately, the stand-by carers only seem to be managing 20 minutes at most and not providing adequate care. My mother's personal hygiene has now deteriorated and her eating habits are getting worrying as she is not being monitored hence finding nearly whole meals in the rubbish uneaten.
