Jankan looked after my mother in law for a few months before she moved into a nursing home. I found from the very first day the manager kept me up to date with her care and any issues that arose. This was very helpful for me as I am in a very difficult health situation with my husband looking after
him and dealing with his complex care. The carers always looked after her care needs well and I would recommend this agency for anyone else thinking of care for their loved ones

All I can say the staff are great, very punctual, very kind to my wife, she especially looked forward the last visit of the day, taking special care that she was comfortable for the night. All staff were very polite and made a fuss of my daughter when she was there, as she was finding it hard.

My Nan sadly was put onto palliative care so your care agency took over.
The communication was great that we had with the manager and all carers were very friendly and took good care of my Nan.
We had a camera set up in the living room to keep an eye on my Nan and we could see that she was starting
to get a good bond with the carers. They were always cheerful , singing and laughing with my Nan.
As a family we were very happy with the care my Nan received.

My mother passed way in May. The home care team were attending for the last few weeks of mum's life. They were very thoughtful, respectful and helpful throughout.

Absolutely the best care we could have had for mum. Every carer that came was professional respectful and so very kind. I can't find any negative to say about the company. One staff member would also visit to make sure all was going well, something that you don't find with most care agencies. I would
highly recommend the manager and her team of such wonderful carers. Mum was very well looked after by them and she loved all the girls. They were always happy and made mum smile. Can't thank them all enough. Having had a bad experience with one agency they were a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended. With kind regards.

The manager and three of her boys looked after my father in his final days. I don't know what we would have done without them, they were the only ones there when we needed them no matter what/when. The manager was always a phone call away helping us and coming out if needed, the boys were caring,
efficient and just amazing human beings. Jan care went above and beyond helping us all during a very stressful, emotional time, they were a godsend.

Well they were def sent down to help us in our hour of need the manager was so helpful , supportive throughout the whole process. The team of ladies who assisted my mother in law were 100% dedicated, caring, respective in all areas of the care we had 4x times a day, i was fully updated all the time
by the manager and although i only had them a few days before she passed they made a difgicult situation much easier. Thankyou so much

The care provided to my husband was very good. The two male carers were excellent but had a few minor problems with some females. Overall he was treated with consideration and dignity as his condition progressed.
I would highly recommend this agency.

The carers visited my parents' home 4 times per day, to clean Dad, change the sheets and pyjamas. They were careful with Dad and explained what they were going to do before they did it (i.e. turning him). Even though the nature of the work was sensitive (changing him) his dignity was maintained. My
Dad felt cared for, and said "thanks" and "goodbye"when his dementia would allow him to do so.

Fantastic care for my sister. My sister said they were not my carers they were my angels and they were, they laughed with her and sometimes cried but always did whatever she needed. "Slidy slidy rolly rolly!" The girls will know what I mean once again thank you.

Your feedback-
We met the management the day my dad came out of hospital, they came they told us the most important job first is to change and wash Dad to make him feel comfortable. The registered manager then spent 2 hours with us going through his drugs and helping us. He had two carers in particular.
Every day they came 4 times a day which was incredible because we thought it would be different carers each day Dad learned to trust them and had a lot of respect for them. They treated him like he was their own dad! And was very upset when he wouldn't eat or drink. They were deeply upset the morning they arrived and had passed away but they still wanted to wash him, and they came back 4 hours later to show their respect! I cannot fault them in any way, we were very lucky to have such kind carers District nurses, St Francis, mental health, and palliative care we're all so impressed with them, they often told me things to relate back to the district nurses that they were worried about. Thank you for your care.

I honestly don’t know where to begin with this review so, I’m going to start by saying thank you to the manager and her amazing team! My grandad was unfortunately taken ill very suddenly last month which led us to have to get the Jankan Care team in to help care for my grandad for the last few weeks
of his life. The care, empathy and support the manager and her team showed to my grandad and his family will never be forgotten. We honestly cannot thank them enough for all they have done for my grandad. We have always been so sceptical about agreeing to carers / having carers in the house because of all the bad things you see online and have always tried our best to manage it in-house, however, when things got bad we had no other option but to accept support externally, and I am so pleased we did. The manager and her team changed our naive perception of caring staff, and we cannot thank them enough! If you’re looking for someone who’s kind, caring, honest, trustworthy and will always offer five star service then look no further.

While we only had a short spell using Jankan Care before my mother was transferred to a hospice, the level of home care she received from the two carers was truly wonderful and they went above and beyond to ensure that my mother's needs and requests were met with professionalism and dignity. It was
a pleasure to interact with the manager, part of the management, who was always available for my calls and enabled a smooth process throughout. I could not recommend Jankan Care more.

I've been working in care for more than 15 years. I started out as a healthcare assistant, then became a registered mental nurse, and am now a registered manager. I have learned about many things, such as mental health, caring for the elderly, and different learning disabilities and illnesses.


As a Registered Manager, I use my extensive experience gained through my career in care throughout my role to ensure each client and their family feel special and fully supported. I take my responsibilities seriously, and nothing cheers me up more than hearing from the people we've helped that they're pleased with the service we've provided for them.
