Witham Community Care provides a personal, family run service with a difference. The small, dedicated team are trained to deliver a service tailored to individual needs, assisting older people living in Bexhill and the surrounding areas, to remain as independent as possible in their own home.

Support Worker's can provide assistance with:

- Personal Care

- Household tasks
- Nutrition and Hydration
- Companionship Care
- Attending appointments and more.

The carefully selected team are personally recruited by the Owners, who are also the Registered Managers. The team are trained to the highest standard, and receive specialist training where required. Support Workers are encouraged and supported to continually expand their skillset, ensuring a person centred service is delivered every time.

Continuity of care is guaranteed. Witham Community Care's vision as a home care provider has always been to have a small and friendly feel, offering clients a more personal service than larger corporate providers. The team share the Owners' vision for providing outstanding care, and truly go above and beyond to ensure those they care for are happy, comfortable and safe.

Witham Community Care also offers a weekly day centre service, which takes place on a Tuesday in Bexhill-on-sea. Witham Community Centre offers older people the opportunity to socialise, take part in new activities and maintain links to the community. A two-course lunch, refreshments and cakes are provided, and activities are tailored by the team based on each individual's interests and hobbies to ensure there is something for everyone!

What can I say Witham Community Carers are amazing. Mum at 93, did not want carers, but being an only child, I needed some back-up. Both Nicole and Laura visited mum and I to chat through what they could offer. They were so caring, and nothing was too much trouble. We set up a plan of visits back in
August. Mum has continuity of carers, Nicola and Louisa being her main ladies and sometimes Kate. Mum knows so much about Nicola and Louisa. It is so lovely to chat with mum about them, in such a short space of time, mum has come round to accepting them and I think deep down she looks forwards to their visits, but of course she doesn't need them and they only come for me her daughter.
For me, it means I can go about my day and not worry that she is ok on a daily basis. They are my extra family that I don't have. THANK YOU. Only today, without hesitation I recommended them to a family friend. Thanks Paula

Can't fault Witham Community Care , the support the carers give dad each day is above and beyond . A lovely team of kind and friendly ladies who have got to know him well and his cat Mog. Mum had moved to Bexhill to live close to her son and daughter-in-law and needed daily help owing to her dementia condition.


From the first assessment meeting the directors were absolutely spot on with what mum needed in order to live as normal life as possible. The carers were slowly introduced

and they all slotted in to mums care plan seamlessly and mum very happy to see them, which was a great relief for my wife and I. Mum tells us of the fun she had that included walks along the seafront, coffee and cake in various places and shopping trips.


The directors and carers were very professional and often communicated with us to ensure all was good and provided suggestions of activities. As mums dementia progressed they provided excellent advice and adapted her care plan accordingly and always went the extra mile to ensure she was happy.


We would definitely recommend Witham Community Care to anybody and you will be amazed at how easy it is to set up to assist a loved one.

My elderly mother has been supported by Witham Community Care (WCC) since the beginning of this year, when her health deteriorated. I looked at several local providers at the time, and WCC stood out to me as it provided a more personalised service and family approach. I spoke initially to the manager
and she was open, friendly, professional and had started her career as a carer, then moved up from manager, to owning and running a care home/home service. WCC have always shown a genuine commitment to providing the best service, and getting to know their clients personally. My mother had never had carers in her home, having been very independent before falling ill. It was a big step for her (and me) and WCC helped guide us through what support my mother needed. We were able to meet the carers before committing and Mum has consistent carers who come in. They have also been incredibly flexible when we have needed extra help and more visits for Mum, following hospital discharge.

From my first meeting with Witham Community Care I knew they would be perfect for caring for my Mother.
I find them very easy to talk to and to discuss various problems.
They are quick to answer and communicate.
The cares are interested in the family as a whole and we are all very happy with the

I broke my arm in a fall, they were always there for me in my rehab. they gave me their personal number and said I could call night & day (and I did and they came!)
I felt well supported & safe.
They even visited me with flowers after I stopped seeing them professionally.

I just wanted to let people know that my friends mum is being looked after by Witham Community Care - which enables her to be in her own home, reducing her stress levels, allows her to stay independent at home, and the support given by carers is excellent and they treat her like family.

Witham Community Care are simply wonderful. From management, to every single amazing carer on our team, who primarily look after Dad, but also support Mum, are extremely professional and caring. Nothing is too much trouble. It's clear that both Dad and Mum really love their carers, and indeed they

The service that has been provided to my wife's grandparents has been faultless. The thought of having carers into their own home didn't initially feel natural to them, however from the initial meeting with the business owners, they felt at ease and very comfortable in their company and this has continued
since September 2024 when the visits started. The small team of carers that visit them are kind and compassionate and go over and above to make sure that they are looked after. The best decision we made was to use Witham Community Care! Thank you.

I would like to thoroughly recommend Witham Community Care for all the support given to myself since having a bad fall. Without their help and encouragement my recovery would not have been as successful as it has been. My carers are kind and support me both physically and mentally, I am feeling more
confident each day. Me and my husband have the same carers visit us and we have built a good rapport with them. Both our carers and the managers are very good, nothing is too much trouble! We feel very well cared for indeed.

Witham Community Care was a lifesaver for me. Shortly before having knee replacement surgery, I was concerned to learn that, unlike others, I have known who have had major joint surgery, I was not going to be offered any ongoing care postoperatively and had to secure this for myself. Having tried all
avenues, and with time running out before my surgery, I managed to secure help with Witham only after I had returned home. I clearly was not in a position to look after my own personal hygiene and had no one else to help me with it. One of the Directors came out and assessed my needs and, at the same time, helped me with much-needed personal care, which I wasn't expecting. From that moment on, I knew I would be in good hands, and the care I received from the team was exceptional. I am a retired nurse and know the difference between good and bad care and can only say the care I received was outstanding. I would readily recommend Witham to anyone needing care in whatever form.

Having the kind and helpful carers from Witham Community Care assist my parents on a daily basis has taken an enormous weight off my mind knowing they're in safe hands when I cannot visit them every day. It has given them a new lease of life allowing them to remain independent in their own home and
they very much enjoy the friendly carers' company. The directors have a wealth of experience in the care industry and a great work ethic working closely with their staff which makes them a professional and outstanding company to deal with. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

As a family, we couldn’t be happier with the care provided by Witham Community Care. Our parents want to live independently but need some extra help and with all of their children living a distance away, the help that Witham offers allows them to stay in their own home. All the staff are kind, friendly
and very efficient in everything they do whilst being sensitive to our parents accepting their changing circumstances. The communication is excellent and the daily updates on the App are very reassuring. I would highly recommend Witham Community Care to other families.

Establishing Witham Community Care with my colleague and sister Nicole has felt truly special. We always knew that we wanted to offer a small and personable service, supporting people to live happy, fulfilled lives in their own home. I am the Nominated Individual and also the Registered Manager, and thoroughly enjoy working alongside our small and incredible team of Support Workers.


I have experience working in both a care home and domiciliary care setting, and spent four very happy years managing a care home in Bexhill, alongside Nicole, before taking the leap to open our own business. I have achieved my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health & Social Care, and enjoy setting myself new challenges and learning new things!


In my spare time I enjoy photography, and going for long walks with my border collie pup, Mika!

When establishing Witham Community Care, Laura and I had a clear vision of the personable service we wanted to offer, and now our dream has become a reality!


We are very fortunate to have an exceptional team to work alongside, who go over and above to ensure that people feel happy, safe and comfortable in their own homes. Along with our colleagues, knowing we're making a difference to our Service User's day is heart-warming.


Having obtained my NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care in 2018, I have continued to expand my knowledge, specific to our Service Users' needs. Prior to opening Witham Community Care, my previous experience included 'Registered Manager' of a Care Home in Bexhill, working alongside Laura.


I'm a lover of a good sunrise and sunset, especially if I have my camera ready! Long walks to wear my Border Collie pup - Myla is my way to unwind in my spare time.
