My mum is receiving professional, kind and proficient care. Her carer is thoughtful, considerate and firm and manages my mum's mood changes very well. We are very glad to have this person helping mum as part of our family lead team.
I have found carers friendly and competent in every way. My house is kept clean and tidy and the provision of a hot meal every evening including weekends and bank holidays for somebody whose cooking skills are non existent is very much appreciated. Equally important are the occasional shopping trips that I ask them to do mainly for essential items such as bread and milk.. All in all I couldn't manage without them.

Surry Downs have provided a very regular and reliable service to my father since 19/1/26.The carer visits once a week to help with anything in the house and to go for a short walk if time. All the management and staff are very helpful, kind and caring.
The consistency of all aspects of the care both personal and companionship have been Second to none . Would always recommend their service and support . Both Mum and the wider family appreciate this consistency of care provided by all staff.
Nothing to complain about the 3 carers who come to me were charming, quick, quiet at tasks and I looked forward to them arriving.
The carers my mother has are excellent. They engage well with her and are attentive to her needs. When asked they have been able to take her to medical appointments when she has been unable to get there herself. They work very hard.
Surrey Downs Homecare Ltd were able to provide great care for my mother. They very quickly organised four ladies to work a rota so that my mother was knew who would be helping her. All were very caring and my mother felt comfortable and benefited greatly from their assistance. Thank you.
The care professionals who looked after my mother were not only efficient and professional but they were very kind and gentle. They were excellent during what was a difficult time in my mother's life. Despite the shortness of the visits to her home they found time to chat to her which was also important. Many thanks we are very grateful.
mornings and evenings. i find all of them most pleasant to talk to and efficient in what they do for me. I would not like to choose between them as to whom I prefer.
Apart from housework and a little shopping they get breakfast for me and bring me a hot meal in the evening
cooked by the chef in the care home which they are part
of.
Surrey Downs Homecare have been providing care for my Dad for over a year now and we are delighted with the service. My Dad and Mum get on well with the lovely carers who are friendly, well trained and a pleasure to have around. Would definitely recommend.

The manager and his staff provide an excellent and flexible service, are sympathetic to the patient, but also stern enough to ensure things like personal care and exercise are carried out even if the patient can be reluctant. They also go out of their way to support ad hoc day long care requests outside of normal scheduling. We are both very happy with the care provided.
Everything is well organised in a caring environment. Staff are very helpful and the client enjoys being there. We use at home care once a week and this is also excellent. Rooms are bright and clean. A happy place.
The staff at Surrey Downs were always kind and caring and friendly. Communication with the management was excellent and much appreciated. Thank you.
My mum is being supported by Surrey Downs Homecare. I have been very grateful to how responsive to our needs they have been. They have been very flexible, accommodating and responsive and it has been a great help. The communication has been excellent also. The meals provided have been good quality and the staff that I have met have been friendly, patient and understanding. They have worked hard to meet my requests, sometimes at short notice. It has been very helpful and eased my stress.
I have recently set this up for my father who needed support to continue living at home. Carers come in twice a day (AM and PM) and they supply meals, do general household work and my dad enjoys their conversation and company. They have facilitated trips out to local cafes which my dad thoroughly enjoys! Both myself and my dad are very happy with the service that is being provided, carers are always happy and smiling and they really do go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Surrey Downs Homecare to anyone who is looking for that bit of extra help at home. Thank you Surrey Downs!
Surrey Downs Homecare Dorking supply a carer who attends once daily to cook lunch, clean and wash clothing and bedding, also shopping when required. The company and carer are both quick to respond to any changes that are required. The service is professional and flexible and I would be happy to recommend to anyone requiring help in their own home.
The carer for my Dad comes to his house every night to help with nighttime duties. He is very respectful, kind and compassionate as well as very capable. Anyone can do a good job but to do it with a smile and patience and care makes such a difference - to both my mum and dad. Thank you.
A particular member of staff was such an amazing help for us! He was so pleasant and by the end of it, he felt like a part of the family. Always went above and beyond to ensure my grandad was comfortable and was very patient. We loved having him around! Thank you.
