Grace – Co-Founder | Company Director | CQC-Registered Manager
Grace is an accomplished healthcare leader and the driving force behind Gleamlite Services Limited. With over 22 years of experience across both NHS mental health services and adult social care, Grace brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, operational excellence, and human-first leadership to her role as Co-Founder, Company Director, and CQC-Registered Manager.
Grace began her career in 2002 as a care worker in a nursing home. Motivated by a deep commitment to care, she advanced steadily while raising a young family—earning her Bachelor of Medical Science in Nursing and becoming a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Her professional journey reflects not only clinical competence, but the resilience and compassion that now define her leadership.
In 2010, Grace joined South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, where she built an outstanding career in frontline and senior roles—serving as Qualified Nurse, Ward Sister, Deputy Team Manager, and ultimately, Clinical Ward Manager. Her work in acute inpatient services and the Intensive Home-Based Treatment Team gave her exceptional insight into crisis response, admission prevention, and community-based recovery models.
Throughout her career, Grace has specialised in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours. She is highly skilled in clinical risk management, care assessments, and leading teams in high-pressure, multi-disciplinary environments.
At Gleamlite, Grace’s leadership is grounded in lived experience and strategic insight. She oversees the full spectrum of service delivery, including compliance, governance, safeguarding, quality assurance, and co-production of personalised care plans. Her work ensures every care package reflects the unique needs, goals, and rights of the individual—delivered with dignity, flexibility, and the least restrictive approach possible.
Grace is a qualified Train the Trainer, and holds additional certifications in Mentorship, Clinical Supervision, Risk Management, and Advanced Leadership Communication (Crucial Conversations and The Magnificent 7). She leads structured staff training and supervision, embedding a reflective, learning-driven culture that enables carers to deliver safe, consistent, and compassionate care.
Her leadership extends far beyond internal operations. Grace works collaboratively with GPs, social workers, district nurses, and other external professionals to provide integrated, holistic care—particularly for individuals with complex or changing needs. She has led system-level improvements that have helped reduce avoidable hospital admissions, medication errors, and pressure-related injuries.
Grace’s strategic mindset is matched by her hands-on presence. From managing rotas and resources to handling investigations and HR processes, she ensures services remain accountable, transparent, and ready to respond to the evolving needs of both clients and staff.
Known for her integrity, humility, and high standards, Grace continues to inspire trust across the sector. Her unwavering focus on safety, respect, and individual empowerment has earned Gleamlite its reputation as a well-led, values-driven provider—trusted by professionals, families, and commissioners alike.
Grace believes care should not only meet expectations, but exceed them—by putting people first, listening deeply, and delivering support that transforms lives with every interaction.
