This has been my first experience with carers.
Let alone from a different country.
They are all lovely, smiley and very courteous.
It is a big thing for me to lose my privacy and have strangers letting themselves into my home but I must say they have all been wonderful and respectful. Nothing is
too much trouble, they leave my home clean and tidy.
I hope I can continue with this group for as long as I need them. It also gives my family peace of mind as they live some distance away.

I have found staff very kind and helpful.
They put up with me as I am very hard of hearing and so it is difficult to communicate. They try hard and repeat what they say.
It's a big thing to be helped and it be done with kindness.

I can’t rate Poplar Care highly enough. They have always been able to step in to look after my father, often at short notice. The care they give is first class. The people who look after him cannot do enough and put me and my wife at ease with their confidence and competence.
Could not have cared
for my dad for so long without their help.

I found the carers to be polite and helpful. They were very keen to preserve the dignity of my relative. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Their manager was also very easy to deal with and helpful.

My dad was cared for by Poplar Care staff until he transferred to a hospice. Without the excellent care provided, we couldn’t have managed to care for Dad at home. They were consistent, kind and knowledgeable, I felt Dad was being looked after very well and was in safe hands at the end of his life.
I cannot recommend them highly enough, they did an absolutely amazing job. Thank you so much for supporting our family during a very challenging time.

All the carers provided by the Poplar Care team have been exceptionally caring and kind to Mum, even when she has been difficult to deal with. They have provided all the essential care she has needed and always with smiles on their faces. One thing that would be beneficial though, is to have all the
teams caring for Mum use the same system that we also have access to (so we can see what has happened).

The carers for my dad at end-of-his life were exemplary in every way. They showed so much respect to a very private independent man, ensuring his dignity remained intact at all times. It meant so much that the same carers came for each visit, they quickly and professionally built a gentle compassionate
rapport with the whole family.

My mum was cared for by their carers. Mum, before her passing away, said 'I've got the best carers ever.' They looked after our mum with real passion and were very caring and gentle. Our mum had cancer and declined very quickly.

Poplar Care provided top-level care for my grandad. In the few times that I encountered them their staff and their manager, they were always polite, communicated very well and always on time.
My grandad also appreciated how the staff still afforded him his dignity and were always patient and understanding
at all times while helping him through challenging tasks and with his medication, changing etc. Our whole family appreciates your help.

The care my mother received, although it was only for just over a week, was excellent. All the care team were great except for the Director who was outstanding. I would be more than happy to recommend this company to anybody.
