                                            Jane along with her husband John, started Bluebird Care in Scotland with their first office in Edinburgh in 2008.
Since then they opened Glasgow South in 2012 and the latest office in Prestwick, Ayrshire in 2021.
Providing high-quality person-centred care is a passion of both Directors and you can often see Jane advocating for people's rights and carer recognition as professionals in front of the Scottish Government, Health and Social Care Partnerships as well as being a Director of Scottish Care who are the voice of the independent care at home sector in Scotland.
In Jane's spare time, she enjoys long walks with our Chief Happiness Officer, Robbie, spending time with friends and family and travelling.
 
                                            John has worked in customer-facing roles for over 30 years as a Territory Manager with Tennent’s and other account management roles and is acutely aware of the importance of good customer service.
With John’s experience, you’ll normally find that he’s the first point of contact when someone is looking for care for themselves or a loved one. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about providing a quality customer service experience. He always takes the time to understand the customer’s needs, ensuring they have all the information required to make an informed decision about who cares for either themselves or a loved one.
Outside of work, John loves spending time with his family. He has 2 boys; Nick and Adam along with 2 granddaughters; Eva and Alyssa. He’s a long-suffering Hibs fan and a very competitive 8-handicap golfer. You’ll also find him listening to 70s & 80’s soul music.
 
                                            Annemarie was inspired by social care at the age of fifteen, she travelled to Romania to help street children, orphanages, and university students. This passion has spiralled throughout her career, helping her to achieve HNC in health and social care, SVQ 3, SVQ Social Service and Health Care Level 9 and finally SVQ in care service Leadership and Management Level 10.
She has worked in a range of different sectors and settings from young children through to the elderly. Jane and John Perry inspired her to join the team with their compassion, ethos, dedication, and proven track record of delivering high-quality care at home service.
Annemarie is the Registered Manager for our Ayrshire & Glasgow South and has a passion for ensuring her teams keep to high compliance rates, always making sure they deliver high-quality, person-centric home care.
In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family, especially her children and dogs. Some other favourites are reading, watching films and going to the theatre.
 
                                            Jennifer joined the care sector during COVID-19 when she was looking for a new challenge. She joined our team as a Care Assistant and received nothing but positive reviews of how amazing she was with our customers. She then moved into our Recruiter position to help us hire more amazing people Care Experts.
She has since developed her career even further and is now a supervisor, ensuring our team members are onboarded and supported, carrying out customer assessments and ensuring they get the highest quality care. Jennifer loves being able to get out into the community and see first-hand how she is making a difference.
In her free time, you’ll find her with her horses or dogs. When she’s not looking after them, she’s in the gym looking after her own health.
 
                                            Amanda started her journey in care over 8 years ago starting out as a Care Assistant and she is now our Coordinator. While she takes ownership of Ayrshire & Glasgow South, she often spends time helping with our Edinburgh office.
She loves working in the sector as every day is different and being able to help people remain in their own homes surrounded by their home comforts is always extremely rewarding.
In her own time, you'll find her spending time with family and her 3 dogs or she'll have her head buried in a book.
 
                                            John has worked in the care sector for over 18 years; he has worked in private, residential and care at home. His journey started as a support worker with ILS where he progressed to senior carer.
He completed his SVQ level 3 and then moved to Hansel Alliance where he worked with young adults with complex care needs. During his time here, he progressed to coordinator and later the manual handling trainer.
After that, he moved on to be a personal assistant for a young man who was non-verbal with complex autism, but he missed the training side, so he moved to Carewatch where he was the training manager for 6 years.
He enjoys training because he feels he can give people the best knowledge and understanding to provide high-quality care. Learning from his experiences, he likes to have a laugh during training to ensure that it keeps fun and allows people to retain more.
In his spare time, he likes to play pool and clay pigeon shooting, and he dabbles in buying and selling antiques and collectables.
