We consider ourselves fortunate to have the care of Penny Care for our son. All the carers that come to our house are professional, caring and friendly. They are always punctual and we know we will answer our front door to a smile.
Its not easy to be full time carer but having Penny Care help us
on this sometimes diffficult journey, is so helpful and makes life easier for us and our son.

Having had the Penny Care team for another member of the family, they were the immediate choice for our beloved 92 year old mother/grandmother. The care, consideration and kindness showed this time was just as it had been previously. Each member of the team is so dedicated and insightful. They not
only do what is required they are always mindful of potential needs and nuances of the patient's condition. When a serious deterioration of wellbeing occurred the commitment to ensuring continuity of care was remarkable and included one member of the team staying many extra hours until we could get there. This level of care is simply above and beyond and marks Penny Care out as exemplars of their profession. I am very happy to shout from the rooftops about this company - their team deserve all the credit they get!

'Penny Care' have been outstanding during the period of time that they attended my dearest father.
They have shown professionalism, empathy and dedication throughout this time.
Often going above and beyond with support wherever needed.
It was also reassuring that senior management team made frequent
visits to attend my father as well as calls and emails to follow up with anything necessary.
All team members were diligent and caring not just for my father but also the wider family.
They were always respectful and followed all hygiene protocols.
The App to track notes and health records was also extremely beneficial.
It was a pleasure to have 'Penny Care' take care for my father right up until his final days.
Special thanks to Eunice and Clarence for the compassion they have shown to my family even after he passed which was exceptional.
We sincerely could not have wished for a better care company. We are eternally grateful,
Thank you
Juliet

I would thoroughly recommend Penny Care who have been looking after my mother before she went into a care home. The wonderful staff were punctual, reliable, respectful and so kind and caring. They adapted to her needs quickly and always cheered her up with their beaming smiles. They were also a great
support to my brother and I at a very difficult time. I cannot thank them enough.

My family and I cannot thank Penny Care enough for the end of life care they provided to my mum. Always friendly and Attuned to my mums needs.
Excellent care provided with nothing being too much trouble. This went for carers and managers who were always quick to respond.

It was a comfort for the

family to know that the care mum received upto her passing was provided by carers who really cared. It made such a difference . The carers came with a friendly face and willingness to do what was best for mum.

I know my dad will also miss the daily contact he had with the carers and the friendship he built up with them.

A huge thankyou to Penny Care who made a difficult period easier.

Thankyou one and all

Current Review Score: 9.6 (9.600)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.6 (9.600) out of 10 for Penny Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Penny Care is calculated as follows: ( (34 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 34 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Penny Care is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
