My son has carers four times a day to do his personal care washing cleaning cooking preparing meals giving him his medication and any other needs. He looks forward to seeing them and usually has a laugh with them
Sometimes there is a communication problem but it is resolved by speaking more slowly.
The cares on the whole turn up on time if they are late it is usually due a problem with the visit to the previous client.
At times my son can be a bit awkward but the carer can usually deal with it if not they will contact me.
The carers provided support to my mum twice a day and also a half day visit once per week up until the point she had to go into a care home on a permanent basis. Mum has Alzheimer's and needed encouragement and prompting to get up, washed and dressed etc, and more often than not the carers were able to facilitate this with a high degree of professionalism and genuine care. Anyone who has a relative with Alzheimer's knows that this can be very difficult to achieve so this was a really positive result and definitely extended the time mum was able to stay in her home. The carers company management were extremely responsive to all my requests for flexibility and additional support. Highly recommended.
Find the carers to be kind and friendly, they do a job looking after Dad.
Very happy and pleased with all the care staff, the girls and the boys, they are all very professional and kind and do a fantastic job.
We are almost three months into our experience of having carers in our home to assist her with basic needs in her life. Following this period she has taken to the pairs of cares coming to help her. she has found all fo them to be well trained and without exception they are all kind and considerate in their approach to helping her.
I have just had to request an increase to the care package my father receives, this was handled quickly and efficiently by management. A recent query about timeliness was responded to immediately. The carers who visit are polite, friendly and very caring. The daily notes I can access online are informative and comforting.
Very happy.
Friendly, courteous and hardworking staff. Always try to help. Made us feel safe in welcoming carers into the house. Peace of mind our grandparents are getting the extra help that is needed.
Yorkshire and Humber have cared for me for many years. Their staff are courteous, loving and very helpful. They help me to bathe, prepare my food, help with appointments, medication and they also help clean my place and always come with a smile. 10/10.
The carers that came each morning to help my mother wash and dress were outstanding! They were always cheerful, patient and kind. They were reliable, even at Christmas or when the weather was bad. Usually, if they were running late they would telephone to let my parents know they were on the way. We cannot thank the carers enough, they enabled my parents to carry on living in their own home up to the ages of 95 and 93 years. We had total respect for all the carers who came and their kind, professional care.
Yorkshire and Humber Healthcare Alliance have been providing care for me for almost three months, the level of care and attention that the carers provide is excellent. The diligence the carers take in making sure every aspect of the visit is done with as much dignity and respect, from personal care to tidying the house before leaving us second to none. I am very pleased with the quality and level of service provided.
The care company did everything we asked of them. The carers were very good and thorough, did whatever we asked and showed kindness, we would recommend them.
My father has advanced dementia. I know that he appreciates his carers and the help and support they give him, even though he does not know who they are anymore. Thank you.
I have found the carers to be very helpful generally. They are thoughtful and kind, giving me a manicure occasionally and looking after me well.
Very good, the ladies are helpful an kind. The ladies come every morning and never fail. One lady comes every week to clean and she is very thorough.
Since the move to two separate areas, the timings have improved immensely. The only quibble is that people disappear without any warning, move to another area or leave. No chance to say goodbye. Staff overall do an excellent job.
