A very good team .
Thank you
We contacted and instructed Walfinch to help us care for an elderly friend from April 2025 onwards. Our initial meeting with Walfinch was very encouraging in thier understanding of our concerns and the support needs for our friend. Our friend although quite physically fit has some dementia but wishes to retain her independence which we want to help her keep as long as safely possible. To date we can report that we are very happy with the way the Walfinch care team have built a really good support and friendly relationship with our friend who seems to love the regular visits. This relationship will become increasingly important as the time goes on and her support needs will undoubtedly increase. Well done Walfinch and thankyou.
I cannot thank them enough for their support and kindness.
They are always there to help even at short notice.
It is such a relief for me to have this support knowing my Uncle is well cared for.
Thank you
All the carers are delightful and keen to help us with whatever problems we might have. Nothing has been too much trouble, and they have encouraged my husband to do a little exercise when he was happy not to. Their spare time spent cleaning our ancient cottage has been much appreciated too.
We contacted Walfinch (Reigate & Horsham) for our elderly mother through a word-of-mouth recommendation. My mother was recovering from a severe bout of winter flu and she needed some extra help around the house. Walfinch responded immediately to our enquiry and, after two initial meetings to discuss exactly what was required/envisaged to assist her, came up with a suggested weekly visit. This was designed to help my mother get back on her feet again and also to enable her to develop a relationship with a small team of carers who would be able to step up and help in the future, should she ever fall ill again. My mother lives (fiercely!) independently but through the helpful and kind attitude of her Walfinch carer, she positively looks forward to visits. In short, the whole Walfinch team is excellent, from management down, and we would recommend them unreservedly.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, it is our pleasure to support you and your family!
My husband spent 8 months in hospital with a serious illness and a profound nerve injury. When the NHS could not provide the re-enablement package on the agreed date Walfinch stepped up and within 24 hours had realised a schedule of care which addressed all our complexities and anxieties. Most importantly this allowed him to celebrate his birthday at home.
2 months later and my husband is much stronger. Our small team of regular carers are friendly and positive and promote independence. I am impressed by their commitment to learning and training We have seen the most senior and the most junior team members working on a wide range of 'problems' from continence to IT for environmental control. Their practical wisdom ensures his comfort and has given us the confidence to care for ourselves between visits.
Thank you so much for the lovely review, it is our pleasure to support you and your family.
I’m looking for the carers to make a difference to my day, and they all achieve that they all unfailingly polite and a pleasure to have in your home.
Not only do they provide me with care. They also help with my rehabilitation. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Thank you so much for the lovely review, it is our pleasure to support you and your family.
My sister has been having regular visits from carers and it has changed our lives that we don’t have to worry about her on a day-to-day basis as we know the carers are keeping an eye on her! They have worked hard on building a relationship with my sister and she looks forward to their visits.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, it is our pleasure to support you and your family.
Walfinch (Reigate and Horsham) has provided exemplary and consistently excellent care for my mother. The initial assessment was sensitively handled with a natural human, one-to-one approach and that promise has been followed through week to week, day to day. Their staff are very kind, full of sensitive personality and have become more than carers - always going above and beyond. The company is led very efficiently and attentively and that lead is always available for routine things (eg booking changes) and for pressing, more critical matters - sorted with no fuss. That utterly reliable 24-hour availability and one-to-one service is rare and very valued. I would recommend Walfinch confidently to anyone looking for bespoke, respectful and authentic care. What could be seen as a negative stage of life, is in Walfinch’s hands turned into a real positive.
Thank you so much for the lovely feedback, it is our absolute pleasure to support you and your family!
A very caring company, and a great team, we couldn’t fault the girls who came to support and care for mum. The process of engaging the care, from start to finish was straightforward and the communication is excellent. With a concise invoice system and ease of payment, we felt a weight lifted from our shoulders.

We contacted Walfinch 4 months ago to see what assistance they could provide for our sister who lives alone with a deteriorating disease. The initial contact with the management was both professional and showed a genuine concern for the well-being of not only our sister but the family members affected by this. We weren’t sure how our sister would respond but they were gentle and reassuring on the first meeting and subsequent meetings so that a trust has been developed in a short time. We are confident that the carers have the experience to continue to care for our sister as the disease develops. Our sister would only respond to caring and compassionate people who she can relate with as well. Involving Walfinch in the life of my sister has been a massive relief for everyone and we are very grateful for them.

At a bewildering time for us as a family, Walfinch have been fabulous care providers for our 90-year-old father. They have been efficient and professional and so kind towards him. They have been quick to build a bond with him and our mother. They always respond if we contact them with no hurdle too tricky for them to assist with and often at short notice. They have helped take some of the load and worry from us as they are always so reassuring.
Thank you for your kind words it is our absolute pleasure to support you and your family.

During the period covered, most care was provided by one member of staff in particular. I find her excellent in every way. She has a great depth of caring experience which she applies to her work with initiative, compassion, and kindness.

We were recommended to contact Walfinch to provide companionship for my 86-year-old mother a couple of afternoons a week who has recently been diagnosed with dementia. I have nothing but praise for the service they offer - they are very friendly, flexible and reliable and all the carers are lovely - my mum is a different person.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. It has been our absolute pleasure to provide support, and your feedback means a lot to our team. Many thanks!
We were having difficulty in finding the right company that would assist us and understand our mum's needs.
Walfinch understood our mum's medical and mobility issues and was very aware that mum was very special to us, and that we wanted her carers to care for her like she was their own mum.
Walfinch followed all the safety procedures and risk assessments for Mum and for their own carers and together we came up with a care plan which best suited Mum.
Our mum is so happy with her care and we feel we can trust and not worry about mum in their care and hope they can continue to care for her in the future.
Walfinch is always there for a chat and to resolve any care issues or updates we have. We would definitely recommend Walfinch Home Care for all your care needs.

All carers have been excellent, very attentive and treated my mum with great care and dignity as she recovers from a hip operation. They have been punctual and also worked non-stop in their allocated time. Each has different strengths and I think my mum has appreciated seeing different people for the variety of interaction.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. It has been our absolute pleasure to provide support, and your feedback means a lot to our team. Many thanks!

The Care sector appeared on my radar when my Granddad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease and wasn’t able to receive care which catered to his specific needs. Microwave meals and no help with household chores meant that if he hadn’t had support from his family, his nutrition would have suffered and companionship and comfort would have been severely lacking. This made me question “How does someone with no family cope?”
I now have an uncle suffering from Motor Neurone Disease, he is fiercely independent and I see first-hand the importance of a service which allows people to maintain as much of their independence for as long as possible.
I have huge respect for the Carer community and when starting this business I set out to become an employer of choice within the sector by rewarding people for their caring nature, loyalty and hard work.
I started my career in Insurance covering both claims and underwriting in the Equine industry. I then moved to London to start a career in Finance covering multiple roles including Sales, Trading, Broking and Project Management for a variety of Asset Classes. Having wanted to leave the Finance industry for the last few years and work for myself, the partnership with Walfinch presented the perfect opportunity to build a Franchise within a rewarding sector whilst utilising and implementing the business experience garnered from multiple industries.
My long-term goal for Walfinch Reigate and Horsham is to create a culture whereby both Clients and Carers are valued members of, not just a team or brand, but a community.
I love animals and have grown up with horses, dogs, cats and more. I have recently added a little French Bulldog, Ralph, to the Walfinch family. I love cooking trying new food and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been working in Adult Health & Social care since early 2017 and quickly realised that the care sector was my vocation. I started my career journey as a care assistant, and through further education and good practice, I was first offered a position as a registered manager in 2021. I have managed care home and homecare services, and over the years I have been involved in the care and support of a wide variety of individuals, each with their own unique needs, preferences and goals. I am an advocate of ongoing personal development, and I love a challenge! I have completed NVQ’s up to Level 5, and it is a goal of mine to obtain a master's degree in Health & Social care.
As a Registered Manager, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of our service in line with CQC regulations, government legislation and our internal policies and procedures.
It can feel overwhelming when the time comes for an individual to consider care for themselves or a loved one and we aim to make this process and adjustment period as easy as possible. I am passionate about making a positive difference in the daily lives of the individuals we care for, as well as supporting their loved ones and extending my advice and empathy to all those involved.
We have established a superb team here at Walfinch Reigate & Horsham. We are mutually invested in our clients, and their wellbeing and enabling them to continue to live safely in their own homes.
I am a Mother to two young children who keep me busy in my free time, and I enjoy losing myself in a good book. As a South-African, I enjoy the warmer weather, the sun and quality time spent with my family and friends.
Having been in the Care Industry for the past six years, I am delighted to be in a position where I have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of individuals who need support in their homes and empower them to remain as independent as possible. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and ensuring the care they receive is person-centred and tailored to their needs.
I am responsible for coordinating the rostering which I love. I have completed my First Aid training, I am a registered 'Dementia Friend' through the Alzheimer's Society and I have completed the Care Certificate.
When time allows I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my two fur babies, my home and travelling.
