What incredible carers! The ONLY thing I can fault is we were only able to have them temporarily. Oh how I wish they were here now. Having the same four people meant they got to know us and we got to know them. I felt so secure and safe leaving my husband in their care. Exceptional in every way. If only all carers were as caring and trained so well. I can't thank you all enough and just wish we could have you permanently, Thank you all so very much. Such special people. Lorraine
Thank you for such a wonderful review. It is always a pleasure to build bonds with individuals whom we support and their loved ones. We wish you luck for the future and thank you again for your wonderful review.

The carers amuse me every time they visit.
Thank you for your review, we are happy to know that our carers bring you amusement when they visit you throughout the day.
Would recommend to others needing support of a local care agency.
Cannot fault any aspect of care recieved over the course of the past couple months. Thank you for providing such a great team, we always felt confidant when Mum in their care. :) Well done all
Thank you for your kind review Donna. Supporting your mother and getting to know your family was a pleasure for our team. We wish you all the best for the future.
Very good, cheerful, helpful no treated too much.
Thank you for your review, it is a pleasure to hear that our staff are cheerful and helpful.
My experience with Agincare overall has been a positive experience. I find the carers who attend to my needs to be funny, polite, and professional. The only thing I would like to change is to be informed of any changes to my time sheet. I have only got praise for the management, and the staff that work alongside her, and I know that if there were any problems with my care calls the office staff would be happy to help. I personally would rate Agincare very highly. The operations manager is so kind, and always makes an effort to make my life better.
Thank you for your wonderful comments. We will look into your point about changes to your visits and will keep in touch with you with our findings. Best Wishes.
Our mother was under the care of Agincare for 18 months, helping her to remain living independently. Mum was well cared for in the main and the carers were on the whole friendly and personable. Some took more time and care than others to get to know Mum's needs and to respond to her as an individual. It made a huge difference when people were upbeat and positive. Such an attitude is worth its weight in gold. It may be worth mentioning, during training, the old adage, 'Treat others how you'd like to be treated' because that humble, human touch goes a long way to making people feel heard and seen. That said I was extremely disappointed to hear that the carers did not get paid for their time between visits, a symptom of the shortage of funding I assume, and of the failure of recent government policy to recognise the essential and key role that carers contribute to society in general, and individuals such as our mum, in particular.
Thank you for your review. We wish your mother and family a happy future.
The carers are always happy and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The office is always contactable and helpful with the timing of the visits to me. I would never be able to do what they do even for 3 times what they are paid so they do it out of kindness to other people, definitely not for the pay. Hopefully, the Labour government will keep to their manifesto and treat carers like NHS staff.
Thank you for your lovely review, it is always a pleasure to hear that our staff are happy, friendly and helpful.
I find the continuous changing of carers very unsettling, especially because the replacements are young and inexperienced in care and mainly only spend 10-15 mins in my home. They don't appear to have any training. In the beginning, I used to look forward to seeing my carers, not so currently.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have concerns around the service delivered to yourself and will be working to assess and address these. We will be in contact soon.

Meet the Team (1)
Nicola joined the Newton Abbot branch as a Registered Manager in July 2023 and began working in health and social care in 2014 as a support worker, supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
When Nicola left school, she began working in a private nursery as a Nursery Nurse and trained to become an SENCO. This is when Nicola first discovered her passion for supporting individuals with additional needs.
In 2014, Nicola moved to working with adults with learning disabilities and autism, and within 6 months, Nicola achieved her first Outstanding as Registered Manager and was extremely proud to see the development that service had made on its journey to Outstanding. This development then became a passion for Nicola and she spent the next 5 years doing turnaround work for a national organisation. After a busy, yet exciting 5 years, Nicola decided that she wanted to settle in one area, and found a position with Agincare.
Being in the industry for many years has meant Nicola has gained many qualifications, including qualifications in Leadership, Mental Health and Behavioural Support and Leadership.
"Gaining qualifications in leadership has been extremely important. It has helped me with not only the individuals that we support but also supporting the staff throughout their careers."
Outside of work, Nicola likes to ensure an active lifestyle by playing tennis and recently joining a netball team. Nicola and her partner spend many hours over their weekends hiking in Dartmoor, along with their two dogs.
