Fantastic staff always respectful.
I no this company is very very very good they've been very very very good with me. Through my ups and downs. They supported me at home when I couldn't do some things for myself and took me out to some groups. I've had some very nice ladies come. And help me I definitely recommend this company if you can go private for your care at home in your home. They always answer the phone even when office closed when you need them or need to explain something to them too and the office staff are nice as well. Is person that come I got to know them. They understood my autism and my other needs I need a need personal care they came with no uniforms on it was self-centered to so I had needed when I needed it. Thank you Alcedo Care, North Wales
Dear Kereena, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind review. It was wonderful to hear that you felt supportive by our care team. It was also great to hear that you felt the office team were responsive to your needs. Thank you again.
I would definitely recommend the company!

Great team. Very responsive to any queries we have had. I work away a lot and my Mother is very happy with the service provided and has taken very well to the carers she has been put with. Highly recommended!

Cant thanks you all enough x x.
This morning she was a godsend- thank you
Absolutely terrible experience with St Asaph office. My daughter is severely disabled with complex needs. I am a single mum to her. Alcedo were given her contract of care 28hrs per week by Continuing Health Care. We had problem after problem. Absolutely no consistency which is what my daughter required. They said they could deliver what was required by my daughter and Continuing Health but it became very apparent very quickly they couldn't. In my experience Alcedo are very money driven, we experienced no person centered care or consideration, if you or your loved one need consistency then steer clear! They change staff at the very last minute without notice. It is a shame it is ran this way because the actual carers are lovely and are trying their best, the problems lie within the management and logistics. My star ratings are based on management and logistics and not on actual care staff.
Our carers are indeed lovely and we would disagree with your review as our carers do deliver excellent person centred care. This must be true as you asked some of our care staff to work for you directly. Continuity of staff on the package was 90% at the time the service was ended by yourself, but...
All the carers are lovely.
I was not looking forward to having carers but we are so pleased that the girls have been great and talk and chat with my husband when they are looking after him. They shower and dress him every day and bring him through for his breakfast. They are so kind and thoughtful and always on time.
Dear Anne, we are pleased to hear that you are happy with the care and support that we provide. It is a pleasure to work with your husband.
I find the carers that we have had from Alcedo Care very kind to my husband when looking after him and very helpful to me too.
Thank you for your review, it is a pleasure to provide care and support to you and your husband.
Have made it much easier leaving hospital and carrying on with day-to-day life.
Thank you for your review. It has been a pleasure to be able to support you to remain independent.
I had care for my mum who just needed some support following a hospital procedure. The girls who visited made my mum and me feel comfortable. My mum can now live without support thanks to the team at Alcedo.
Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to support your mum and we are glad she is doing well. I will pass on the feedback to the staff team.
I am looked after very well from the moment I met the staff and carers. With respect and kindness.
Thank you for your review, I have passed your kind words onto the staff team and we look forward to continuing to support you.
I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent care and attention that she received twice daily
She looked forward to having regular chats with all of the carers.
She never wanted to go into a care home and Alcedo Care provided the excellent care she needed to remain in her own home.
I would like to thank all carers for their hard work and all office staff for their professionalism.
Thank you for your kind words. It was an absolute pleasure to support your mum and wish you the very best in the future. I will pass the feedback on to the team.
It took me a while to get used to the calendar, and there were a few drastic changes we weren't made aware of till it changed on the calendar. This was despite the fact I was phoning regularly. The staff member herself was impeccable. I was told I should be checking the schedule myself, but I would do this and then it would change. Sometimes on the actual day itself!
It's impossible to constantly check the schedule, in case it's been changed.
I tried to call several times when the staff member turned up on a day we weren't expecting her, but there was no answer. When I did call, I was told they would try and put her in for a different day that week.
When I called back a few days later, I was told by someone else that we had lost that session because I hadn't checked the schedule properly!
Thank you for the kind words regarding the staff and the care that was delivered by the staff members. I will pass this on to the team. We do have a family access which allows the family to see which staff member is attending. We also make our customers aware of any emergency changes that have occurred.
Very happy with the carers. They respect me all the time. Name badges would the good.
Thank you very much for your review and I will pass it over to the staff team who support. Our carers do wear name badges and we will look into making the text bigger.
