Mega Resources Nursing & Care - Gloucestershire

My experience has been very mixed due to the carers involved. Some carers are brilliant, easy to talk to and good fun. They will do all they can to help you as much as possible. Sadly, the other half have been miserable and, rather than help if they have time, choose to use their personal phones to amuse themselves. As there are a lot of carers from other countries, this can cause a lot of language barriers. This is especially apparent when cooking food. Anything beyond microwave meals causes problems.

Carers are very helpful. They are kind to me and help me collect my medication now I am house bound. I have a good laugh with the carers. I am very grateful for everything they do for me.

The team from Mega Care have been outstanding with my Mum. They have been flexible and adaptable over the weeks that they worked with her in terms of the support they gave. They built a real genuine connection and she looked forward to their visits. Their ability to respond to her changing circumstances over time meant their role changed from encouraging her to eat and drink and other light house duties to the more intimate care needed in the final stages of her life. She was treated with dignity and respect at every step. They provided emotional support for our family in the final days for which we will be forever grateful and the communication throughout could not be faulted. I was always contacted if there were concerns and positive and assertive action was always taken when her care needs changed. They worked well with the other agencies involved.

I don't believe we could have fulfilled her wishes to stay at home until then end without the help from this amazing team.

Apart from the odd occasion, I have found my carers to be excellent in my care and their timekeeping. Caring and compassionate with loving smiles. I am very happy with my care.

I am very happy with all the carers. Excellent. They help me a lot and are very lovely and wonderful.

We are very happy with the excellent care Mega Resources Nursing and Care have given my father in law. All of the nurses are friendly, helpful and polite, they are amazing, and my father in law looks forward to them coming round and having a chat and laugh with him.

Mega Resources have given excellent care to my mother, always cheerful and willing to do what's required. Communication with the care coordinator, has been easy and they have responded quickly. We will miss them!

Mega Care have been very very good in Caring for my Mother. The ladies visit at the same times and are polite, cheerful, helpful and happy doing what they do. The management have been absolutely superb, implementing everything asked for to help Mum. Changes are not an issue at all, they are very willing and helpful to ensure the best service for all. Providing excellent care to our mum who is bedridden. I am also very grateful to them, at this moment, to take extra care of my mum-in-law, so that I don't need to worry while I am going through a time of grief with the loss of my dad, who just passed away very recently. So again, I am very appreciative and very grateful for their fantastic job and their presence.

The carers have been fantastic. Same times each day and have done a wonderful job looking after my mother. If I need something to change then they are more than willing to make the changes we need.

I am very satisfied with the care I have received. Staff are all very friendly. Always arriving on time. Very good at not over-supporting. I feel very safe with my carers. Would recommend to others.

After concluding on extensive assessments on day one I was confident that this team would endeavour to provide the best possible care for our relative and I was not disappointed. They do a great job and keep me updated regularly.

Carers are always on time and very helpful, bring my cooked meals to me and do my washing and putting it away. And bringing hot drinks and cold drinks.

This enables the rest of the family to feel comfortable in knowing Mum is well looked after.

We are now confident Mum is receiving the care we need in order for our family to continue supporting Mum at home. We are so, so pleased to find them and incredibly grateful for all they do for us.
