I wholeheartedly recommend Bluebird Care to anyone looking for excellent, reliable, compassionate care for a loved one. This recommendation was built over 3 years, and they have never let us down!
Their team of warm, friendly, respectful and positive carers delivered person-centred care focusing on my mum's specific needs and preferences, allowing her to do what she could safely, which supported her independent spirit. Even with hospital stays, sudden discharges and changing needs they bent over backwards to be flexible and prioritized the same core team who mum knew and trusted. This meant that subtle changes from day to day were noticed enabling prompt interventions to catch infections early.

For me, Bluebird brought peace of mind that a capable team were there for her every day. Their communication is brilliant. They have supported family members at difficult, emotional times with their calm presence and sound advice. We will always be grateful for their high quality care.

On contacting Bluebird Care the Manager was very friendly and helpful. She guided us through the whole process of arranging day care for my Mother-in-Law. The care she received was very thorough and consistent with no issues at all. The daily journal through the website is very re-assuring on observing how each care visit has gone. This offers peace of mind knowing how each visit has gone. My Mother-in-Law was always happy with the care she received and we would not hesitate in using Bluebird Care again in the future.

Overall Experience
As a family we are so glad that Bluebird Care came into our mum's life. Mum is a totally different person since we changed to Bluebird last year, she is clean , well fed, vibrant, the list could go on, she talks so fondly of her carers, nothing is too much trouble for them, not just taking care of mum but housekeeping and laundry.
A big shout out to Steph, Ade and Hilda for your kindness, support, understanding of mum's needs and quirky ways.
I have met Steph and Ade, both so lovely, I have seen first hand their care and compassion for our mum whilst maintaining such high professional standards.
Even the regular catch up/assessment with Emma is so relaxed, interacting with mum and getting her views on her care.

Bluebird have been an absolute godsend following my discharge from hospital. The support has allowed me to focus on healing properly & kept things ticking along at home in a busy household. I feel I have recovered quicker than I would have if I did not have the support & all the staff are friendly & a pleasure to meet.

Overall Experience

The management staff listened to our needs and identified the right carers for my mum. Mum has always been a private person so she didn't want help but the carers engaged with mum and in just a short space of time she has warmed to having help. The carers are kept to the minimum so continuity is upmost. It is so nice to see mum warm to the carers so soon. I am so pleased with this company, you will not go wrong if you choose Bluebird over any other care company. Excellent ladies/gents keep up the good work

The carers who have been looking after my mum have taken really good care of her, not just by physical, but also mentally & socially.
Also the management have also been very supportive.

On both Mondays and Thursdays 2 delightful gentlemen arrives at 8.00 am. Each of the two who who come have smiling faces, and are always keen to see that I am happy with their care. I am very grateful for their help with showering and Dressing afterwards.

Bola Sanni

Bola brings a wealth of business management and analytical expertise to Bluebird Care. Prior to owning Bluebird Care Rotherham, Bola began her career as a care worker in 2004 supporting the elderly in nursing and residential homes. Her life took a different path when she moved into the world of Business and data analysis, where she worked on process improvement, change, and digital transformation projects within the NHS.

Despite how well her career climbed, she couldn’t shake the desire to work in an environment where she could support others and satisfy her natural affinity to care. She enjoys helping and supporting people and feels so privileged to have the opportunity to return to her career roots, fulfilling a lifelong dream of leading a profession that provides excellent quality care for those in the community.

She wants to make a real difference in the social care sector and make a positive impact on people’s lives. She's very focused on building a great care service for her local community and supporting people to live safely and happily. Thus, joining the wonderful family of Bluebird Care has allowed her the opportunity to make this happen in Rotherham.
