I have found the care service professional and efficient. It is daunting trying to manage my mother's care from a distance and my experience of the manager and the care professionals is very positive and supportive and they are always available if I have any issues. Any problems are dealt with promptly and I don't feel that I am dealing with all of this on my own. They have a good knowledge of working with dementia so are patient and understanding to my mother. I would recommend this service to others.

I would like to say how happy myself and family have been with the level of care that my dad has had over this last year. At the start it took time for my dad to adjust to having everything done for him. Dad has been shown care and consideration to his personal needs. The girls have all been amazing patient and will take on board when things need adjusting. Even on the days dad is difficult they have been amazing and I can't thank them enough as it takes so much worry from me knowing my dad is getting good care. Dad loves to chat on his good days and they will take the time and listen and even sing along with him. It was hard to hand over dad's care to someone else but so thankful he has the team he has. Looking forward to celebrating dads 102nd Birthday with you ALLxx

We were very pleased overall with the care provided to our mum. The individuals who attended were very pleasant and mum formed a bond with S in particular. Mum settled in to the care visits after a short period of getting familiar with the operation.

Esjay was amazing with my mum. She took the time to really talk with her and built a genuine connection. My mum felt comfortable enough to open up to Esjay and share how frustrating it was for her to forget things.

They would often go out for a hot chocolate together, and those small outings meant a lot. My mum genuinely looked forward to seeing Esjay-sometimes twice or even three times a week.

It was so reassuring to see someone treat my mum with such kindness, patience, and understanding. Esjay made a real difference to her wellbeing, and we are very grateful for the care and companionship she gave. The management was good too, very flexible with requirements when asked for additional time with my mum per week. Hope to avail services again soon , when my mum comes to visit.

I used the Ayr-based company site for a few days to allow me to visit family elsewhere. My husband had a twice daily visit to help with personal care and ensure he had meals cooked. He has always been a very private person as regards help but welcomed the carers and seemed to enjoy their company. If he is happy with the care then I am happy. The assessment prior to the package starting was straightforward and the 2 people listened and used this information to help arrange the best for my husband. I appreciated the follow-up phone call and will certainly use the company again. As regards value for money- i have no idea how the prices compare with other companies but i realise they will all be expensive. However, i feel this is what we pay for to have peace of mind that someone is being cared for properly and with dignity.

All aspects of the service we have received have exceeded expectations both from the perspective of my mum (the service user) and me (the client). There is a genuine sense from all I have come in to contact with of care and wanting to do a great job. So many little extras have been taken care of with no fuss such as laundry collections, assisting tradesmen and arranging medical appointments. Having this service in place has given me great peace of mind.

Home Instead has provided an amazing compassionate and personalised service for my father since October 2024. Nothing is too much trouble! Consistency of staff has been excellent although a little changing around is unavoidable. I visited recently and witnessed the service at first hand. Listening to my dad laughing so much when life is so difficult for him now was fantastic to see.

So far we have been delighted with the service provided. Care is to an excellent standard.

Home Instead have been going above and beyond to help us navigate through the challenges that have been experienced when dealing with the vagaries of the Scottish healthcare system, to ensure that the best care possible is provided.

Dad has been well looked after at home and has been treated with dignity and respect for what is quite a challenging prognosis for him.

To be honest, I was highly sceptical of dealing with a company that, as far as I was aware was an unknown factor in my region. I need not have worried, it was obvious from the outset and during the course of our initial meeting that integrity was one of their primary objectives. Their professionalism shone through, nothing was too much trouble. As for the other team members employed by them, nothing was too much trouble and they were only too willing to adapt to your routine and lifestyle. To summarise, I would not hesitate to highly recommend the company.
