When I have a new assistant supporting me, I want them to take the time to get to know me and understand what is important to me. For example, I pray according to my religion, and I want to be responsible for deciding where and when I pray. Sometimes I can also feel nervous when meeting new people, so it is important that my assistant understands this and gives me time to feel comfortable. I also like having different Personal Assistants depending on the activity or place I am going to. I think it is important that the Personal Assistant is suitable for the activity. For example, when I went to Alton Towers, my Personal Assistants did not go on a water activity with me because one could not swim and the timing was not suitable for the other. The same idea applies to activities such as hiking. In general, I would like to have a Personal Assistant with different skills and experience, so I can have someone who is suitable for the particular activity I want to do.

We also really appreciate your insight regarding matching Personal Assistants to specific activities. Your experience at Alton Towers is a great example of why skills, interests, and practical abilities (like swimming or hiking experience) need to align with what you want to do that day.
