I am so impressed by my helper. When he arrived three or four weeks ago, he gave a wonderful introduction, being both polite and thoughtful. He very quickly learnt what I needed to be done, where items were to be found, and he took great care to do the tasks, washing up, cleaning floors, taking the
kitchen waste to the compost bin.
Before my helper came, I thought I could manage alone, having had a knee replacement. I now realise having a clever helper makes life a bit easier. Thank you HTR Care.

The care manager understood the care needs and made the plan accordingly.
The main carer is very gentle and professional. He has observed, understands my father-in-law and his needs and adapts his care accordingly.

Tanka Bhattarai is the Director with Significant Control and Nominated Individual at HTR Care and Recruitment, and also serves as an Ofsted Registered Manager, providing strategic leadership across the organisation’s home care services and health and social care staffing operations.


With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven leadership capability, Tanka holds a Degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance, bringing robust analytical, financial, and governance expertise to the care sector. Before entering health and social care, he worked in education, teaching students from school to college level—an experience that continues to shape his people-centred and developmental leadership approach.


Tanka has over 17 years’ experience in health and social care, having worked with several leading care providers within regulated environments. In August 2017, he founded HTR Care and Recruitment, which has since grown into a trusted CQC-regulated home care provider and health and social care staffing agency, supporting individuals, families, and care organisations.


He holds QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Level 5 in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare, alongside professional qualifications including Trainer in Moving & Handling and the Award in Education and Training (AET). As an Ofsted Registered Manager, Tanka ensures strong governance, safeguarding, compliance, and high-quality outcomes for children, young people, and adults supported by HTR services.

He has over 30 years’ experience in health and social care, having worked across a wide range of settings including NHS hospitals, private hospitals, residential care homes, forensic hospitals, secure units, and rehabilitation services.


In addition, Rajen has trained and practised as an Employment Lawyer, enabling him to bring advanced knowledge of employment law, HR governance, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks to the management of domiciliary care services. Jenish Giri is the second Company Director, the Financial Manager and in charge of Administration of the company. Over time, Jenish has worked in various roles as the business required as a support worker, administrator, staff coordination, sales & recruitment.

Jenish is now responsible for the overall smooth running of the business along with focussing on the financial aspect of the business. He has a strong understanding of what our clients need and how we can match or exceed those expectations.
