Tanka Bhattarai is the Director with Significant Control and Nominated Individual at HTR Care and Recruitment, and also serves as an Ofsted Registered Manager, providing strategic leadership across the organisation’s home care services and health and social care staffing operations.

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven leadership capability, Tanka holds a Degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance, bringing robust analytical, financial, and governance expertise to the care sector. Before entering health and social care, he worked in education, teaching students from school to college level—an experience that continues to shape his people-centred and developmental leadership approach.

Tanka has over 17 years’ experience in health and social care, having worked with several leading care providers within regulated environments. In August 2017, he founded HTR Care and Recruitment, which has since grown into a trusted CQC-regulated home care provider and health and social care staffing agency, supporting individuals, families, and care organisations.

He holds QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Level 5 in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare, alongside professional qualifications including Trainer in Moving & Handling and the Award in Education and Training (AET). As an Ofsted Registered Manager, Tanka ensures strong governance, safeguarding, compliance, and high-quality outcomes for children, young people, and adults supported by HTR services.

Rajen Jussun is the Registered Manager at HTR Care and Recruitment, bringing extensive leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic insight to the organisation’s domiciliary care and home care services. With a long-standing career and strong professional networks across the UK health and social care sector, Rajen plays a key role in supporting the growth, quality, and compliance of HTR Care.

Rajen qualified as a Registered Nurse in Mental Health and Learning Disability and has been registered as a Mental Health Nurse since 2000, reflecting his strong understanding and practical application of clinical governance, safeguarding, and quality assurance within regulated care services. He has over 30 years’ experience in health and social care, having worked across a wide range of settings including NHS hospitals, private hospitals, residential care homes, forensic hospitals, secure units, and rehabilitation services.

In addition, Rajen has trained and practised as an Employment Lawyer, enabling him to bring advanced knowledge of employment law, HR governance, regulatory compliance, and legal frameworks to the management of domiciliary care services. This dual clinical and legal background strengthens HTR Care’s approach to safe staffing, workforce management, and regulatory compliance.

Rajen joined the HTR Care team to provide a clinical and professional perspective on service development and strategic direction, helping to identify key areas within the home care and health & social care sector where service quality, efficiency, and outcomes can be improved.

As Registered Manager, Rajen is responsible for the overall quality and delivery of care, including:

Ensuring high standards of domiciliary and home care services

Overseeing care planning, risk management, and safeguarding

Conducting regular audits, reviews, and monitoring checks

Delivering training, supervision, and professional development to care staff

Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards

Nicholas Olanrewaju is a highly experienced Operations and Business Development Manager and a qualified Social Worker, bringing over 15 years of expertise in health and social care across both the public and private sectors.

With more than a decade of hands-on practice as a qualified social worker, Nicholas has worked extensively across elderly care and children’s services, giving him a deep, practical understanding of frontline care delivery, safeguarding, and person-centred support. This professional background enables him to bridge operational leadership with high-quality care outcomes.

Nicholas has a strong track record in operations, contracts, and compliance management, where he is recognised for improving efficiency, strengthening governance, and ensuring services consistently meet regulatory and commissioning standards. His experience supports both domiciliary care services and health & social care staffing operations, making him a key asset to HTR Care and Recruitment’s growth and quality assurance objectives.

Jenish has an MSC in International Business and has completed various mandatory training.

Meena Pradhan is the care co-ordinator as well as the senior field supervisor of the company. After working several years in Health and Social Care over time, Meena has progressed into managing and coordinating all staff rosters, liaising with clients and other professionals to meet their care expectations, and is responsible for ensuring the clients receive the best service. Meena is equipped with Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care Level 5.

Meena has completed various mandatory trainings, including GDPR training, along with Train the Trainer in Moving & Handling.
