The manager and her team have been absolutely brilliant with our Mum, who is suffering mid-to-late stage dementia. Every single one of the team took the time to get to know Mum, what she liked and didn't like and went that extra mile to make sure Mum was looked after. They washed Mum, did her hair, her nails, took her out for walks and to cafe's. They were our lifeline to Mum, and most importantly, Mum loved them too! We always knew that we could call on the manager to be there for us, with very prompt replies and always making sure Mum was front and centre of every decision. All the nurses were so caring and adapted their ways of working to ensure Mum was always happy. Use D&H - you won't be disappointed!
I would definitely recommend this company for ongoing care with a friendly approach which is exactly what I wanted for my parents.
The service was excellent. Very caring and they had a genuine concern for Mum and her needs. After not wanting to accept help initially Mum soon warmed to the carers and enjoyed their visits.
Sadly she passed away but the manager took time out of her day to attend the funeral which was so kind of her.
I highly recommend D&H family care.
