My husband has had carers from Homlium for five months now and he is extremely happy with his carers it's a difficult time when you need care and you have to trust your carers my husband been given empathy from his carers while he's been having a very difficult time especially at the moment after a fall and being unable to walk as well as he has done recently. I personally find the carers ready listen and to help with making my husbands a little happier .

Since we have been using Homelium, we have been more than satisfied with your excellent service. Each and every carer that we have seen has been most courteous, respectful and have gone out of their way to be helpful over and above of just doing a job. I would and have recommended Homelium anytime. My husband Clive feels that he is well looked after. Not made to feel embarrassed and feels well looked after. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

Overall Experience

Since 2025, my wife and I have been referred via HCC to Homelium for a three hour respite. This has enabled me to carry out tasks such as shopping, home maintenance, etc. The carers sent here always been smart and polite. Our current lady is most experienced in care and is a great help. If any problems may arise at times, etc., I am always contacted by the manager. I commend the firm as very competent and caring.

We live an hour away from my aunt so things are not always easy for us ,any time I have had any concern or problem a phone call to Sam and everything has been easily sorted.They have provided the best service of all the companies we have had over the last four years.Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in need of this service.All the carers are very friendly and go above and beyond making things better all round.

Overall Experience

My support from Homelium so far has been great, I received much more support now than I ever did with previous company's. My carer preferences are mostly adhered to and accommodated where possible but I understand I can't always have them. The support from Homelium allows me to venture out further, engage in more actives and be able to not feel rushed when completing certain tasks.

Overall Experience

This review relates to the 'take a break' service provided, and funded via the county council, which allows me, as my wife's carer, to have a few hours off by providing a carer to sit with my wife. The carers provided have been excellent and interacted well with my wife.

I am very happy with the care I receive from Homelium. I have regular carers coming in every day and have such a good relationship with them all. They accommodate my call times due to my needs and always have. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for home care.

Thanks to the team and especially to my Mum's regular carer for their kindness and support. Everyone we have had contact with has been friendly, caring and considerate. I always know when to expect a visit and my mum has been looking forward to seeing her carer.

Overall Experience

We have been using this company for over a year and we can not express how lovely the people are. They come in and do what's needed and always ask if anything else we would like to do. The staff who come here are so polite and friendly and nothing is too much for them. The best care team we have had in a long time and so glad we have them because we know them and they know us well now, and again nothing is too much for them to help out with anything.

Overall Experience

I find the service very good. One member of staff in particular is very attentive and had a nice friendly personality. However, they are all very pleasant and I would recommend this company to family and friends.

Overall Experience

I find the service in general very good, particular those individuals who have a lot of experience dealing with with dementia. They are all crating and some go beyond the personal care too in making sure we are both ok as possible.

Overall Experience

I am very pleased with the service Coastal Care provide. I find them very efficient and diligent. I would highly recommend them. The carers are very helpful, punctual and polite at all times. Management try very hard to sort any problems if any problems accure.

Samantha Harder

Growing up, I found inspiration in my mum; a nurse who’s saved lives- including one right in front of me! Her passion for making a difference fueled my desire to follow in her footsteps. My journey in care started at age 17, and 15 years later I’m more in love with my role than ever. Now, a proud Director of Homelium.

My favourite thing about what I do is the people! I love to meet new people and engage with them. I take pride in the happiness we bring to our clients, knowing I am making a positive impact in their lives. I hold my level 5 in leadership and management which is also one of my biggest achievements. This gave me the confidence to lead a fantastic team and build our happy clientele.

Outside of work, I’m an avid traveller who cherishes moments near water and in nature. I love holidays, seeing new places and trying new foods! If you catch me at karaoke, beware of my rendition of “Dancing Queen”- it’s all in good fun until the morning after!
