I worked as a ward manager, where I was responsible for leading teams of care staff and Band 5 nurses, ensuring high standards of patient care were delivered in a fast-paced environment. I also worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager, overseeing the planning and delivery of safe and effective care, as well as mentoring and supporting staff in their professional development. In addition, my role as an Emergency Department Nurse gave me the opportunity to further enhance my clinical skills, work under pressure, and respond to complex health needs quickly and effectively.
