Wasn't sure when first started in December 2025 but think it was trial and error.
There are 2 main carers for my father in law David and Eunice who go above and beyond.
Very friendly and AM always are able to accommodate for extras even at short notice also changes.
They deal with his stoma bag
cope with his deafness and grumpiness with understanding and supportive of us.

I have given a five star review because the carers who visit our parents are kind and efficient in the care they provide. In my mind this is most important. They are also a small team, so Mum & Dad have the same three or four Carers to look after them; this is extremely important for obvious reasons.
For the most part the office is easy and friendlyto deal with. Initially we had some "teething problems", but I now feel my sister and I have a good relationship with the office who are responsive to our needs. Maybe some better tech support / follow up could have been given to my sister to enable her to login to the care site more easily, but I think we got there in the end. I like the way we can ask the Agency to add extra tasks to their visits (like taking the bins out or collecting prescriptions), so we do not have to use neighbors of who we have no oversight.

Carer consistency is a very important part of our care strategy. We focus on relationship building rather than just getting a task done. We have noticed that clients benefit more from having a relationship with their Carers as they feel understood. In the same way, they Carers as well do benefit from having that relationship which makes them feel appreciated knowing that they are actually having a positive impact in the client's life. Having met a few of the carers who look after my mother I have always found them to be friendly and polite and treat her with dignity and respect. They are always usually on time and do all tasks required.
My mother has adapted well to their visits and that comes from someone who always insisted she
could cope by herself! She appears genuinely happy with the service provided.
Venencia the manager has always been helpful and did a few of mothers care calls for her initial visits.
I have no hesitation in recommending AM Homecare to anyone who is looking for care in the home for an elderly relative.

Girls are very respectful and kind to my parents
Mum has advanced dementia and they are very patient with her


They do a lot in the time provided
Clean up after them selves also
They let themselves in with key and announce that they are there so as not to surprise parents
Find them polite if I have

I have found AM Homecare Services to be very professional in caring for my mother. It provides peace of mind to know that someone is visiting her twice daily to help her with personal care and meals etc. If there are any issues which need attention I am contacted very quickly. I know that from speaking
with my mother all the staff who visit her are very caring.

Initially I found the carers from AM a bit off-hand but later I realized that maybe some of them were understandably irritated about the extra workload imposed on them over Christmas due to my husband's discharge from hospital at short notice. However, I later realised that most of them are very well
trained and compassionate. My husband was in a vulnerable state and, having gone into hospital late November able to walk with his frame and fully continent, he had come home after 4 weeks unable to walk and incontinent. and due to dementia, he didn't recognize he was in his own home so was constantly asking for me when the carers were doing his personal care. They showed patience and compassion as well as meticulous standards of care, always maintaining my husband's dignity. I used to call one of them the 'men's outfitter' because he always made sure that my husband looked smart in his day clothes as well as being comfortable. The carers also supported me with household tasks.

My life has been made so much easier since AM Homecare started helping my mother (90's with dementia) - I no longer feel guilty juggling work, life and also feeling I should be visiting her at her sheltered accommodation knowing that her meds etc are being taken care of. It is hard to comment on the
level of service Mum receives as she has dementia and I do not witness it so there has to be an element of trust that she is getting the help she needs. If I do have any comments or notice something which isn't quite right AM Homecare attend to it straight away - and they also keep me fully updated and spot things which I just wouldn't and sort them out

AM Homecare services have been compassionate, professional and caring with my mother.
They lift her mood when she's down with their care and attention when looking after her and talking to her, they treat her respectfully and with dignity, the portal for keeping me up dated on her care is great and
the manager has also been very helpful and easy to contact.
nothing is too much trouble which is a relief and comforting for the family.

Following a brain injury, and slow cognitive decline, Mum now needs a carer to help her with personal care in the mornings and evenings. I haven't met any other carers from AM Homecare Services, but the manager has been excellent with Mum. She is always bright and cheerful, and even when Mum is in a
low mood, the manager manages to get her smiling and laughing. She is always professional but the service she provides is very personal and caring. She is excellent with my Mum who can be stubborn and uncooperative, but also treats her with respect and dignity, never patronizing.

I am honestly very happy, reassured and pleased with the level of care my mother is receiving. Our home care providers are always very friendly, professional and competent. I have every confidence in them as I know they will provide the highest standard of care for my mother who, I know from experience,
can be very difficult at times.
Our home care providers have excellent communication skills with frequent updates and any matters of concern.
I now have complete piece of mind that my mother is being well cared for by home care providers who really do care for her well being and they are now regarded as our friends.
My mother eagerly looks forward to their visits which, in itself, is the highest compliment I can give.

My husband became very ill with his Parkinson's disease last year and AM Homecare was recommended to me to assist with caring for him. The personal and consistent level of service and care that the manager and her team provided were way above my expectations of the Care Profession.
I had in years gone
past experience with my mother who needed help and care in her home and the outcome of her assistance was not good or comparable to the level of personal care offered through AM Homecare. I have recommended AM Homecare before and will continue to do so.

AM are always on time or cover their shifts without issue. My mother is treated firmly (she has dementia), kindly and with respect. AM always highlight any issues with me and takes the time to text regularly.
I have not rated 'value for money' as I do not believe that this type of service is rateable.

It was necessary to enlist the services of the AM Homecare company to help out with the care of our mother. We found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating to our requirements acting in a professional manner.
