However, my father died in December; and the care was cancelled for both parents, we realised in February that the direct debit had been taken; and on inspection we discovered that there had been many occasions when we had been overcharged.
This was raised with the office and referred to the MD; she emailed to confirm that full payment would be made to us, nearly £3500!! Asked for it to be paid in instalments; we said no! We were told the money would be paid by the end of March - but it has not been paid.
We will be taking the matter to Court.
My advice would be if you do use them, check the bill every month and the amount taken from the account- as they didn't tally, sadly we realised too late and only realised a few weeks after Dad had died that the direct debit was still being taken.
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologise for the stress and frustration caused. We take all feedback regarding our service and administration very seriously.

The Visiting Angels provided care for our mum in the final 4 years of her life. Throughout this time, they worked with our family to ensure that our mum's care was tailored to her needs and provided the consistent, highly professional care that we knew she needed. As mum's condition naturally deteriorated, they adapted accordingly and, when it was clear that mum was approaching end of life, they ensured that not only was she cared for, they went above and beyond to help the whole family navigate a very difficult time. They modified rotas to accommodate our mum's needs in her final days, cared for her 24 hours a day through CHC funding when it became available and provided constant reassurance to our whole family when we needed it most. We are eternally grateful for the love they showed our mum and the support they gave us. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Thank you very much for your kind words, it was a pleasure to look after mum over the past 4 years and I'm so please that mum received the highest standard of care in her final days with her care team and family around her.
Thank you for making my friends life easier and more fulfilling by helping her mum.

This team of care providers demonstrates exceptional professionalism in every aspect. My partner greatly values the companionship of the ladies who take her to various groups and manage her home. She is consistently treated with the highest respect and dignity. As a family, we have developed a strong and positive working relationship with the entire team. They are always willing to go the extra mile.
Thank you for everything you did for us.

I would just like to say Visiting Angels cares for my bed-bound mum; they go above and beyond to make her life worthwhile. They care for all her needs. Her carers are amazing. I would just like to thank the girls, I know my mum has quite a few carers but these three are amazing in what they do. Thank you Visiting Angels for looking after my mum I really appreciate all you do for us.
Thank you for your review; it's very humbling to know that the support and person-centred care that is delivered to a loved one is to the highest standard, in which we pride ourselves on.
For the past year or so I have had a morning visit to assist me with preparing for the day ahead. The carer will help me wash or shower and prepare my breakfast as I like it. Also, they will do any jobs around the house, prepare my meals and help me choose what to wear, depending on the weather. I would not be able to do these things without help and I am thankful there is someone who is willing to help me. Nothing seems too much trouble for them and I have found that to have a cheery greeting and a friendly face each day is a great comfort. I feel as if I have made some new friends who will have a good chat and keep me up to date with what is happening far and wide and with their own family news.
Thank you for a lovely review. We are so pleased that you are happy with the service provided and that your journey with us is a pleasurable one.

I am a doctor by profession, with years of experience as a Consultant Radiologist at the NHS. My shift to home care represents a significant new phase in my career. Coming from a family of medical professionals—including my husband and three sisters—I am acutely aware of the challenges faced by hospitals today, such as expanding waiting lists and a growing elderly population. I strongly uphold family values and believe that, under the current strains on our healthcare system, home care is essential, allowing individuals to receive personalized care in the comfort of their own homes.
After thorough research, I chose to join Visiting Angels, an organization renowned for its dedication to making a positive impact on lives and for providing families with the reassurance that their loved ones are receiving the highest level of support, wellness, and care at home. I am proud to be associated with Visiting Angels, a company that prioritizes a carer-centric approach, aligning with commendable values and vision for healthcare. I feel honoured to contribute to such a significant and impactful mission.
