With over 15 years of experience in health and social care, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds, across a variance of settings. Throughout my career, I have developed a passion for complex clinical care, believing that everyone deserves compassionate, personalised clinical support that truly meets their needs.

As a Qualified RGN, my experience includes; commissioning of new healthcare services, working in both inpatient and community settings with children and adults with complex health needs, regional management & leadership, clinical compliance and palliative care. But beyond qualifications and experience, my focus has always been on people—ensuring they feel valued, heard, and cared for and have access to the care they deserve.

I am deeply passionate about leadership and understand the importance of not only delivering outstanding care but also creating an environment where our dedicated teams feel supported and empowered in their roles. With more than 5 years of Recruitment experience, I have had the privilege of getting to know and working closely with many very talented professionals throughout my career. I bring a deep understanding of recruitment processes, candidate selection, screening, and interviewing, and understand the importance of an excellent candidate recruitment experience.

I joined Esme Blake Care Services to oversee and develop our Recruitment and Compliance processes to ensure that we bring on board the very best talent who are not only skilled but also align deeply with our core values of compassion and excellence, ensuring that all staff are fully compliant along the way.

My focus is on developing seamless recruitment and onboarding processes for Esme Blake staff, as well as continuing to foster a very positive work environment.

With over eight years of experience in Health and Social Care, I’ve had the opportunity to work across various areas of the sector. My career has included providing hands-on care to vulnerable adults and children, earning a diploma in Human Resources, and transitioning into my current role as Executive Assistant to the MD.

Throughout this journey, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the challenges and demands of a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

As the Executive Assistant to the MD at Esme Blake, I manage complex schedules, coordinate high-level communications, and support strategic projects and meetings - all while ensuring the MD’s priorities are aligned and day-to-day operations run seamlessly.

I’m passionate about being a central point of connection across the business and take pride in helping to keep everything moving efficiently.

Throughout my 22 year nursing career, I have had the privilege of working across a broad range of services including mental health inpatient services, rehabilitation, children's respite, and for the last 11 years since raising my own family, complex care. This has given me the opportunity to work with both children and adults with a diverse range of needs. This has not only strengthened my clinical skills and knowledge but has given me the invaluable experience of understanding the multifaceted complexities that individuals and families face when accessing healthcare.

It has been my time spent as a field nurse, caring for children with complex health conditions and their families that has been most impactful. Working so closely alongside families and witnessing their challenges has given me the drive to make a meaningful difference to those that we support. Providing the highest quality, individualised, all encompassing care, without compromise is what I strive to achieve.

With over 14 years of experience as a paediatric nurse, I’ve been fortunate to work in a variety of settings, including A&E, Neonatal Intensive Care, palliative and complex care in the community. Each role has helped shape my clinical skills and deepened my understanding of the many layers of child health.

What truly drives me is my passion for complex care in the community. I believe every child and family deserves more than just clinical support - they deserve a holistic support system that recognises and adapts to their unique needs.

As a Branch Nurse at Esme Blake, I am committed to managing the day-to-day operations of our care packages, ensuring that each client receives the highest quality support tailored to their individual requirements. My goal is to make a lasting impact on their lives by providing compassionate, coordinated, and expert care that empowers them on their journeys.
