I am the full-time carer for my elderly Father who suffers with dementia. We have been using Liberty Care for 6 months to provide care twice weekly to give us a break, provide personal care and give my father a fuller range of human engagement.
From the outset I have been extremely impressed by the approach and ethos of the whole team. All of the carers have been engaged, empathic and utterly professional; we have the utmost confidence in them and my Father really looks forward to their visits.
I would strongly recommend Liberty Care for anyone requiring personal care at home.

The care and support to Mary and us as a family was excellent and outstanding , our Mum was treated with dignity , respect and compassion.
We could not of asked for a better team to help and support us, even though a few short months this made a hard time much easier.
Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a privilege to support Mary and your family during such a difficult time. We are truly grateful for the trust you placed in us, and were glad that our care and presence made things a little easier. Your feedback means a great deal to our whole team.
I am very pleased with the care that I receive from each of the carers in the Liberty Care at Home team. All are very friendly and considerate. Both of the owners of the company regularly participate in calls (visits) and they are very approachable wrt any of my suggestions for changes to timing of calls and/or tasks required to be carried out. They communicate well wrt any planned changes to normal call times etc. Because the company is owned and run by two individuals who live on the IW, there is NO ISSUE with having to report to any large group based on the mainland.
Thank you, Alan, for your thoughtful review. Were so pleased to know you feel well supported by the team and that our communication and flexibility make a positive difference to your care. It means a great deal to us that you value our handson, local approach. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience

Liberty care provide a full care package including cleaning up, making breakfast and lunch + drinks. I always felt that Liberty Care had my mother's best interests in mind.
Thank you so much, Mike, for taking the time to share your kind words. Were delighted to hear that Maxine, Jane, and our care team were able to provide the support and reassurance you needed. She holds Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care, along with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. But what truly sets her apart is her unwavering belief that care should never be about ticking boxes or chasing profits—it’s about people, dignity, and doing things properly.
Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, Jane co-founded Liberty Care at Home with Maxine Ormiston after witnessing the gaps and frustrations in adult social care. Together, they set out to build something better—where quality care, genuine relationships, and community connection come first.
Jane is known for her calm leadership, her dedication to staff development, and her ability to bring warmth and structure to every aspect of care delivery. She continues to be a driving force behind Liberty’s mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they support.
Maxine qualified as an adult nurse in 2004 and has spent over two decades working within the NHS across both hospital and community settings. Her clinical expertise is matched by her commitment to continuous learning—most recently completing a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Practice in 2022.
Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, Maxine co-founded Liberty Care at Home with Jane Matthews after witnessing first-hand the challenges and shortcomings in adult social care.
