When, the other day, one of my sisters described the manager as a gem, I thought 'Yes, she is indeed a sparkler'! Over the past 4 months she has brightened up the life of my 90 year-old aunt.
At the moment, my aunt is fit and able to look after herself. But, she is quite isolated: none of us family
live in London and she has few friends. The manager's role is to go round for a cup of tea and a chat. She sends visit reports. And, we know that we can call or message her at any time - she will always get back to us promptly. In the early weeks, we had reason to contact her quite a lot, but not so much now.
As time goes by, my aunt will naturally need more support. We are 100% confident that the manager will be able to care for her in whatever ways are necessary.
Currently, the manager visits fortnightly, nominally for half an hour - this is what my aunt is comfortable with. We are grateful to her for taking on such a lightweight role. It is one that many care agencies don't consider worth their while.

The manager and her team provided excellent care responding to my needs. I appreciated their positive and cheerful approach which made it easy to have someone in my home. As my needs changed so did the care; they were flexible in agreeing to different hours. All in all, I would recommend Maggie's Care
Services highly if you're looking for someone to provide a professional and caring service.

The care manager responded quickly, and the care commenced in a timely manner. We were really pleased with the quality of care provided. Throughout, we felt safe and comfortable. Additionally, they treated our home with respect, which was one of our main concerns. We are grateful for their professionalism
and attention to detail.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
We have been using Maggie's Care services for just over 2 months for my mother who is 90 and suffers from dementia and I can't express how happy we have been with their service.
Although elderly, my mother lives by herself and is physically fit but her memory is terrible, consequently, she regularly
tries to do things like cooking and then forgets which is a constant worry. However, with the Maggie's excellent carers, we can rest easy knowing my mother is being cared for and assisted, so that she can remain as independent as possible. Her carer has established such a lovely relationship with my Mum, such that she has changed from totally not wanting any assistance, to looking forward to her arrival.
The daily reports produced, details what was done, what meals were made, how much food consumed and activities performed, which is excellent. The overall management provide by manager ensures that the service is delivered professionally and to the highest standards. Fantastic service!

The manager is patient, respectful, gives him the choice to do things for himself even when it goes wrong. She has a sense of humour and is always positive. She is very reliable and goes beyond the necessary. I could not have asked for better. For someone who refused help and now looks forward to her
visit, it's an achievement.

Maggie's Care has helped my husband every time I've gone away since February this year by staying overnight. And offering very flexible care early evening and in the morning. This has included calling for emergency help when he fell ill. My husband is understandably very ambivalent about care. And
what's worked, the most important thing, is the respect and interest the carer has shown, always seeking to support my husband's strengths. He really appreciates their help and it's allowed me to get away.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Maggie's Care Services Ltd is calculated as follows: ( (42 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 42 Ratings = 5

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Maggie's Care Services Ltd is based on 7 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.7
