Alina Homecare Huntingdon

We have been using Alina for my dad for over a year now and are extremely satisfied. My 95-year old father has mobility issues and needs help getting out of bed, dressing and washing since a fall 15 months ago. We have 2 or 3 regular carers who have obviously been carefully vetted and who have developed a really good, friendly and chatty relationship with dad: he always looks forward to seeing them. They are kind and attentive and responsive to dad's sometimes changing needs. We are very happy with Alina as a service provider. All prices have rocketed in the past five years, but relatively speaking, Alina definitely offers value for money.

Great service and attentive to the specific needs of my Dad. Quality interactions with leadership helped us define the best care in a difficult situation. We created a really good feedback loop that allowed both parties to benefit e.g. escalation of any issues or improving interactions at the home with my Dad to best help him. Top draw would recommend.

We have just started with Alina Homecare for my mum. Both the carers and the office team are super lovely. I've been really impressed with their professionalism and efficiency, and also their kindness and empathy, and excellent communication. They keep in regular contact and go above and beyond with their service. Nothing is too much trouble and they have taken a weight off my mind in regard to balancing my mum's care needs with looking after myself - their support is invaluable.

I can't recommend this care provider too highly. The initial assessment focused on me as a person and what I needed (I needed short term care after an accident). All the visits were punctual and I felt very confident with the carer in the house. Washing, dressing, breakfast and small household jobs were all seen to with kindness, compassion and real expertise. The individual touches that I requested on the first day were never forgotten - what I like in my hair, a small spritz of eau de toilette. I was also accompanied on short walks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this provider to any family needing confident, experienced and kind care for their loved one

The home care provider has been most supportive during a month which was quite difficult for us.We have had help with all types of housework as well as assistance with personal care when needed and always encouragement to keep going through difficult days. Time keeping is excellent and the carer brings a positive attitude with every visit. This helps us so much to get through the day.

My 84-year-old godfather lives in Huntingdon. He moved from the US back to an area with lots of family. Unfortunately about 2 years of living in the area his health was starting to become worse and the family we thought would be there to help, just were not able to. I inquired with Alina Homecare via email. I received a reply right away. I had plans to come to visit in late November and thought while I was there, I would interview a few places. The 2nd day I was there I had to rush my godfather to the A&E. Turns out he had pneumonia. The first thing I did was call the manager and Alina Homecare. In 2 days, we met, got a schedule started and all the paperwork was done and he was being cared for. I can't tell you how relieved I felt when I flew back from the UK to go home. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing home healthcare. They are kind, knowledgeable and really lovely people. They keep in touch and give him much-needed help and company.
