We have had Alina care for nearly a year now and we quite possibly wouldn't have got through it without all their care and support!
Dad was home after 2 life saving operations, one of which was an emergency and was unfortunately left with a colostomy. Dad was also discharged with other complication and also a wife with Alzheimer's.
Management ensured all carers were confident in dealing with a ' non text book stoma'
From day one the ladies have all been so respectful, reassuring and positive giving a reassuring chat or hug if needed to mum too.
A year on and the continuity of carers organised by the office, the knowledge, understanding and most importantly the care of each carer of what my dad calls ' His Angels ' has enabled us to keep dad in his own home and for the carers to get to know them both .
We are now looking to increase our visits from Alina to now include a visit for mum and also extra for dad as his needs & anxiety develop.

We have used Alina for my mother for approximately 9-10 months. We have had between 1 and four visits per day depending on her needs. All the carers have been professional and extremely caring, empathetic, friendly and very useful to my mother, nothing has ever been to much trouble., from care to company to friendship. They have even visited her in hospital when I could not make it and we're the 24hr emergency contact for her lifeline service. None of these service providers come cheaply but we found Alina to be extremely reasonable , professional, friendly and caring and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering care for a relative.

I have only high praise for the Woodingdean Alina Homecare office staff and carers. The office staff were always ready to listen and help with any problems but the stars were the carers who treated my mum with such care and dignity.
Although my Dad wasn't their client, the carers came in and chatted to him and made him breakfast with mum. Being mum's carer and her having Alzheimer's Disease he looked forward to their daily chats.
After he passed and I moved in to look after mum the girls were marvellous with both mum and me. They always checked to see if I was OK and if they could do anything for me.
As mum's condition got worse the carers treated her with kindness and dignity and laughter was often heard coming from her room.

When mum moved into a nursing home it was like saying goodbye to good friends.

We found Alina to be so easy to deal with from day one. Nothing was too much trouble, to changing times of visits if Dad had a hospital appointment even if it was late notice. The careers were excellent, as were the administration. They genuinely cared for Dad and it showed in the respect he was shown. After Dad died, they were sympathetic and I received lovely, comforting words from them. I would not hesitate to recommend Alina to anyone.

Our very elderly father/father in law receives three daily visits from Alina Homecare Salisbury. Whilst he has managed to improve his mobility since his fall in May 2026, which prompted us to seek regular care for him, he lives alone and was diagnosed with mixed dementia in February this year. The carers bring better regularity and structure to his day. He wasn't looking forward to having care visits but the kind, lovely and helpful team who visit him really cheer him up, and their respectful approach really helps him feel he's still in control of his independence whilst having the regular support and companionship that he deserves.
I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have found such a great bunch of people, the communications are excellent and the management of the branch are hands on too, which ensures they fully understand and can cater for their clients and their clients' families needs.

We feel so much happier that he can be as independent as possible - thanks to Alina HC.

Tony was hesitant about having carers at home to start with but the Alina ladies soon changed that! A very friendly and efficient team who went above and beyond with their attention - and he looked forward very much to their visits.

I first contacted Alina Care approximately 14 months and even after my first initial contact I knew they would be the right care agency for my 90 year old father in law.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for the team, contacting GP's, picking up medication, shopping, cleaning etc. Even if you can't get hold of someone immediately they always respond very soon afterward. Over the last few months my father in law's care visits have increased but this was never a problem and the team are very accommodating and always put his needs first. Care visits are always on time and if there is ever a delay with the visit you are kept informed. I would certainly recommend Alina Care

The staff at Alina looked after our mother who had dementia, they were kind, caring & very patient with her. If they had any concerns they always took the time to discuss them with us & kept us informed at all times. One of my reasons for choosing Alina was that they are local & mum had the same team of 2/3 carers visiting regularly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alina.

We cannot speak highly enough of the Alina team from Woodingdean. All the carers were excellent, and went over and above what we expected of them, right up until Mum passed. They made what was a very difficult and sad situation a lot easier, knowing Mum was being so well looked after. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

The Alina team looked after my mother over a period of four years. The standard of care was always good and often exceptional. Some members of the team provided excellent proactive care. I really appreciated the support of the team in looking after my mother. The office were always prompt at dealing with any concerns raised. I would definitely recommend Alina's services.
