We reached out to Alina to provide support for our mother living with dementia, and father who was increasingly struggling to manage. We have been delighted with the service received, the team at Alina was able to provide immediate relief for our family, having initially been concerned how well our parents would take to external support. Alina staff have been able to quickly build a a trusting relationship with us all and strong lines of communication on all aspects of mum's care, which my brother and I have valued greatly as neither of us are local. From the first call, Sophie, Lizy and Charlie have been professional, adaptable and proactive when needed, in helping us to enhance and personalise the care being provided, and we've been very impressed with the work of the front line carers too. We would gladly recommend the team at Alina Andover and their dementia care service.

We have received great service from Alina, from the initial meeting to discuss care of my father who has dementia, to the now daily visits. The team of carers all seem lovely, and my father enjoys his visits to help with medication prompts and mealtimes. The app which Alina use is great as we can see exactly what has happened during each visit. A few small teething issues were dealt with promptly and effectively. Sophie and Lizzy were extremely responsive when I needed to arrange care at short notice for my mother, who had recently been discharged from hospital following a broken hip. They listened carefully to our needs to help tailor a package of home and personal care to support her during her recovery and found a small team of carers who come to help my mother every day and who she is really happy with. They were the first company I called, and without their help, we would have been really stuck when council care ended abruptly. Really grateful for their support and highly recommend the whole team.

Very pleased with care we have received from Alina. From Sophie's original visit to the 2 lovely ladies who have looked after us for the last 9 weeks. Very kind and caring abe efficient. Alina are absolutely brilliant. From the start they were very professional, taking care to note all of mums needs. Everyone working on the team was very caring and always helpful. Communication is always excellent - no issues with anything at all. Would have preferred to keep using the team and keep mum at home but mum needed more attention due to dementia.

In summary, a great company and if you're in any need of care for your loved one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I found Alina homecare when researching options to support my mother in law after she had a couple of strokes and a diagnosis of dementia. Living alone she felt she didn't need any help but after meeting the manager and discussing what help Alina could offer, she agreed to a trial. She now greets the carers with a hug and looks forward to their visits. The daily checks, practical help and social interactions have helped to develop a routine that supports us all. The app is great at telling us what happened during the visit as my MIL cannot always recall the details. The manager is very responsive and accommodating to last minute changes or requests, and the carers are lovely. This has been a positive introduction to help keep my MIL living at home in a familiar environment, where she feels safe. I am very grateful we found them and would definitely recommend Alina homecare Andover.

My experience so far has been very good. The carers are lovely and very helpful. I could not manage without them as I am housebound. When I go out I need a wheelchair especially for shopping. They are kind and considerate and very helpful in all ways. They have done wonders for my mental health, I have something and someone to look forward to each week.

I was really lucky to find Alina Homecare when my elderly father had a fall and became housebound. I live the best part of 200 miles away from my father's home and without Alina it would be simply impossible to meet my father's wish to stay in his own home. They provide a very a high standard of care, attention to detail and importantly not just support for my father but also me without which I could not manage the many issues that have arisen and continue to arise on a periodic basis. It would be wrong to single out any particular member of the team as they are all brilliant, particularly with my father, and I cannot praise them enough for their proactive and considered approach to managing his care. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alina Homecare to anyone.

Alina's lovely carers have been visiting my parents for about 7 months now, initially to get to know my mother, who has Alzheimer's and to also provide some respite care for my father (who we discovered has advanced prostate cancer during this time). It took a while for them to get to know Mum, who is often confused, agitated and sometimes aggressive. The lockdowns and the 'tight care bubble' she formed with Dad meant that Mum been refusing any care of any sort from anyone, (including the family). With patient, regular visits, the carers have got Mum onside and are now providing daily personal care to Mum and general support, keeping things ticking over for Dad. The app notes the carers take and share with us are also invaluable for helping to understand how Mum is and what other things we can do to support our parents. We are so happy with their fantastic work, and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Alina has become an important part of her daily life, she finds them very supportive and friendly and is feeling more confident she can manage again.
