From my first meeting at the end of January 2026 with Alina the service has been excellent to date. It was very useful to have profiles of the carers to look at and to match the carer with the user. I had concerns as to how the service would suit my husband as he was very anxious when I went out and wasn't at home. However, the carers that have been allocated to us have managed to keep him calm and build up relationships with him. They are firm but respectful and kind and always prompt for their visits. This has enabled me to have some much needed breaks without having to worry, as I know that they can cope even if my husband becomes upset or challenging. I would add that all the carers we have seen seem very aware of my needs and are always thoughtful and kind towards myself.

Really, really pleased with Alina. From the beginning they were friendly and very understanding of the issues and needs surrounding my mum. At the same time they are very professional, taking care to explain the system and costs and then allowing us as much time as we needed to decide if we wanted to join the program. My mum describes the carer as 'a breath of fresh air' and has really enjoyed having her around. I cannot recommend this service enough.

We have been using Alina for my dad for over a year now and are extremely satisfied. My 95-year old father has mobility issues and needs help getting out of bed, dressing and washing since a fall 15 months ago. We have 2 or 3 regular carers who have obviously been carefully vetted and who have developed a really good, friendly and chatty relationship with dad: he always looks forward to seeing them. They are kind and attentive and responsive to dad's sometimes changing needs. We are very happy with Alina as a service provider. All prices have rocketed in the past five years, but relatively speaking, Alina definitely offers value for money.

Alina care, led by Tara and her right hand woman Charmaine, are incredible. I literally cannot thank them enough for their never ending support and care over the last year.

As mums needs have increased, they have worked with me and various professionals supporting mum, to work out the best possible support and care plan for her, increasing it on a week by week basis at times, factoring, in mums social, medical, decreasing physical ability and my chaotic brain as been no easy task!

However, they have remained committed, constantly thinking creatively with me, to work out what we can do to keep mum at home, which is her wish.

Times, nothing is too much trouble.

I honestly don't know what we would have done with out them and their wonderful team of women- each and every one of them fantastic in their own way.

Great service and attentive to the specific needs of my Dad. Quality interactions with leadership helped us define the best care in a difficult situation. We created a really good feedback loop that allowed both parties to benefit e.g. escalation of any issues or improving interactions at the home with my Dad to best help him. I highly recommend Alina services . I had a hip replacement in August 2025 and I was unable to put my support socks on as I could not bend and I was in too much pain. I telephoned some other services to find out if anyone could help as my brother had to go home after a couple of days looking after me.

Alina understood that I needed support immediately which meant I did not have to wait 2 weeks compared to other services (1 week assessing me and then visiting the following week).

This was fantastic and I appreciated the caring manager from the start as I was house bound and feeling vulnerable. The staff were gentle and professional and managed my support sock with very little pain.

The staff have been lovely, warm, personable and caring. They have fitted in with my family visiting and I have really enjoyed having them popping over.

We have just started with Alina Homecare for my mum. Both the carers and the office team are super lovely. I've been really impressed with their professionalism and efficiency, and also their kindness and empathy, and excellent communication. They keep in regular contact and go above and beyond with their service. Nothing is too much trouble and they have taken a weight off my mind in regard to balancing my mum's care needs with looking after myself - their support is invaluable.

I can't recommend this care provider too highly. The initial assessment focused on me as a person and what I needed (I needed short term care after an accident). All the visits were punctual and I felt very confident with the carer in the house. Washing, dressing, breakfast and small household jobs were all seen to with kindness, compassion and real expertise. The individual touches that I requested on the first day were never forgotten - what I like in my hair, a small spritz of eau de toilette. I was also accompanied on short walks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this provider to any family needing confident, experienced and kind care for their loved one

The home care provider has been most supportive during a month which was quite difficult for us.We have had help with all types of housework as well as assistance with personal care when needed and always encouragement to keep going through difficult days. Time keeping is excellent and the carer brings a positive attitude with every visit. This helps us so much to get through the day.

Alina has been helping me care for my mum for the last three months. From the very beginning they showed warmth, empathy and always with a sense of professionalism. The care team have become an extension of the family and it gives me a high degree of confidence to rely on them. It pleases me that Mum looks forward to their visits. It's evident they have made a positive impact on her wellbeing.

My 84-year-old godfather lives in Huntingdon. He moved from the US back to an area with lots of family. Unfortunately about 2 years of living in the area his health was starting to become worse and the family we thought would be there to help, just were not able to. I inquired with Alina Homecare via email. I received a reply right away. I had plans to come to visit in late November and thought while I was there, I would interview a few places. The 2nd day I was there I had to rush my godfather to the A&E. Turns out he had pneumonia. The first thing I did was call the manager and Alina Homecare. In 2 days, we met, got a schedule started and all the paperwork was done and he was being cared for. I can't tell you how relieved I felt when I flew back from the UK to go home. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing home healthcare. They are kind, knowledgeable and really lovely people. They keep in touch and give him much-needed help and company.

Mum went into a home earlier this year whilst we were away. She didn't like it so we asked Alina if they would be able to help with respite care in her own home. She was so much happier being able to stay home and we had peace of mind that she was cared for.

We asked Alina Care, Histon to provide cover for a long-term carer who was away for two weeks. Mum has dementia and gets very anxious about change, so I was relieved and grateful to find that every carer that came to her was a good fit for her. They were all kind, professional, and competent people, clearly very experienced carers, and the whole process from start to finish went extremely well, with Mum happy and content throughout. I could not have asked for more. Thanks to all involved.

Thank you to the team for the care given to my father over the past year. He was very reluctant at first to accept the help he needed but the carers have won him round with their professional yet friendly approach and now he looks forward to their visits. The App enables me to read the report immediately after each visit and I can then act on any observations or recommendations. My mother and I are so grateful for the support and would definitely recommend Alina.
