Really, really pleased with Alina. From the beginning they were friendly and very understanding of the issues and needs surrounding my mum. At the same time they are very professional, taking care to explain the system and costs and then allowing us as much time as we needed to decide if we wanted to join the program. My mum describes the carer as 'a breath of fresh air' and has really enjoyed having her around. I cannot recommend this service enough.

Alina care, led by Tara and her right hand woman Charmaine, are incredible. I literally cannot thank them enough for their never ending support and care over the last year.

As mums needs have increased, they have worked with me and various professionals supporting mum, to work out the best possible support and care plan for her, increasing it on a week by week basis at times, factoring, in mums social, medical, decreasing physical ability and my chaotic brain as been no easy task!

However, they have remained committed, constantly thinking creatively with me, to work out what we can do to keep mum at home, which is her wish.

Times, nothing is too much trouble.

I honestly don't know what we would have done with out them and their wonderful team of women- each and every one of them fantastic in their own way.

Very good with cleaning and are on time which is very important to me.

I highly recommend Alina services . I had a hip replacement in August 2025 and I was unable to put my support socks on as I could not bend and I was in too much pain. I telephoned some other services to find out if anyone could help as my brother had to go home after a couple of days looking after me.

Alina understood that I needed support immediately which meant I did not have to wait 2 weeks compared to other services (1 week assessing me and then visiting the following week).

This was fantastic and I appreciated the caring manager from the start as I was house bound and feeling vulnerable. The staff were gentle and professional and managed my support sock with very little pain.

The staff have been lovely, warm, personable and caring. They have fitted in with my family visiting and I have really enjoyed having them popping over.

Alina has been helping me care for my mum for the last three months. From the very beginning they showed warmth, empathy and always with a sense of professionalism. The care team have become an extension of the family and it gives me a high degree of confidence to rely on them. It pleases me that Mum looks forward to their visits. It's evident they have made a positive impact on her wellbeing.

Mum went into a home earlier this year whilst we were away. She didn't like it so we asked Alina if they would be able to help with respite care in her own home. She was so much happier being able to stay home and we had peace of mind that she was cared for.

We asked Alina Care, Histon to provide cover for a long-term carer who was away for two weeks. Mum has dementia and gets very anxious about change, so I was relieved and grateful to find that every carer that came to her was a good fit for her. They were all kind, professional, and competent people, clearly very experienced carers, and the whole process from start to finish went extremely well, with Mum happy and content throughout. I could not have asked for more. Thanks to all involved.

Thank you to the team for the care given to my father over the past year. He was very reluctant at first to accept the help he needed but the carers have won him round with their professional yet friendly approach and now he looks forward to their visits. The App enables me to read the report immediately after each visit and I can then act on any observations or recommendations. My mother and I are so grateful for the support and would definitely recommend Alina.

We moved from another care provider and are very happy with Alina, wishing we had changed long before. Mum now gets the continuity of care and stability she needs. She is very happy with her care workers who appear to enjoy looking after her and helping her, responding to her specific needs and preferences. The company appears well structured and well-led, filtering down to the friendly and efficient local office and visiting care workers. Communication and response to changing circumstances are excellent. I am happy that my mother is well looked after by a reliable provider I have no hesitation in recommending.

Since taking on my 94-year-old mum’s care, the Alina Team have shown respect for Mum’s needs in her own environment and provided care at her pace. They have responded to changes in her condition appropriately and keep in contact with me if they have concerns. I share the care with the team, and recently, when I became unwell, they stepped in to give me support with very little notice, being flexible in response. We have a good working arrangement, and I have confidence in the Alina Team to meet Mum’s needs. She also benefits from the company and conversation during visits, and it broadens her world to get to know each carer.

I cannot speak highly enough of the Alina carers that have supported my mum. They were extremely professional in the quality of the care they provided, yet also very personable and caring. Without a doubt, they made a huge difference in the quality of my mum's life through their daily visits. They provided companionship, friendly banter, and wonderfully understanding personal care.

This service is inspiring and so essential for us to have in order that we as a couple can continue enjoying each others company without feeling too tired.

The regular visits my mother has with her carers has helped hugely. The regular consistent social contact, having someone to talk to and to help oversee any practical housekeeping issues has helped to improve Mum's confidence, self-esteem and independence. The carers' visits quickly became part of Mum's daily routine and really enhances her week and sense of well-being.

My three children agitate for my wife and I to go into care. They are entirely satisfied that Alina provides a good domiciliary alternative. So far there is little for the carers to do, but their presence is a comfort.

We've been using Alina's services for nearly a year now. The ladies who visit my father are personable and caring. Dad's happy that he can stay at home and fend for himself - with their help. It allows him some independence in how he lives, and company to look forward to. I deal with my father's affairs and can see how he is on the daily reports that the carers complete - via an app on my phone. Whenever there has been a concern, Alina have messaged or called me. They've also been available to talk to when I've needed advice. Highly recommend.

We have been with Alina for the past few months as they are caring for my wife who has MND. They have become a close and valued part of our life and I genuinely don't know where we would be without them. Whilst highly professional, their staff are very friendly and really care. They are very organised and communicate well whilst also being very flexible, always trying to accommodate our ever-changing needs - including stuff that needs doing to keep the house running.
