Overall Experience

I have a parent of 93 with health problems & dementia. I was recommended to use Alina Homecare by a person locally. We are so lucky to have them. They provide daily support, without which we would be in serious trouble. The kindness they have shown has been amazing. When my mother fell badly, the Alina

lady accompanied her to hospital, & stayed for hours by my mother's side, offering reassurance.
The Alina team report daily to me via an app, which is very useful. Also they can drive her into the village & help with shopping. They also help her with personal care. I would definitely recommend them.

Overall Experience

Recently used the Alina home care service for my dad when he came home from hospital. All the carers who visited dad were very good with him. They were all respectful of him and his home and his wishes. And were patient with him. When he needed an ambulance called one of the carers made sure he was

ok and stayed longer to see that he was safe and with paramedics. The daily reports from each visit is a great way to be able to keep a check on the situation and how the visit went. You can check this on the online app, and see what time the visits are set for for the following week.
The manager was always great to communicate with and answer any questions. I would highly recommend this care agency and would use again if needed. Thank you.

Overall Experience

I am extremely pleased with my experience of Alina Homecare in Christchrch, Dorset. After carefully selecting this agency myself from reading other reviews, I can say that the staff who have visited my elderly female friend have been trustworthy and kind. It seemed necessary to ask for more support

visits. A comprehensive assessment was carried out initially with me present. At first she was unsure of meeting new staff but now looks forward to having them call to see her.
From my point of view I am reassured to know that when there are health or safety issues I am always notified and can then deal with those immediately. The managers are approachable, reliable and tailor the care package as required. Several times they have spoken to me, face to face or by phone. Online notifications list the staff due to attend in advance.
Very satisfied with Alina Homecare. They give me peace of mind.

Overall Experience

Our family are extremely grateful to Alina for their support in May which enabled my dad to attend some important family events. In addition to providing their normal morning and evening care we asked them to assist us with getting dad to a milestone birthday party and his grandsons wedding. Alina were

at Dads side for both events, providing attentive but discreet care, meaning as a family we were able to relax and enjoy the events. Most importantly Dad had a wonderful time. Some wonderful family memories were created thanks to the support we received from Alina.

Signing up with Alina Homecare Poole has been the best decision and mum is so happy with the care she is receiving. From the moment mum met the team, she felt that they genuinely cared about her and that has continued. Alina has also been able to accommodate mum's preferences and my requests and questions

have been responded to quickly and efficiently. Having access to the carer's handover post a visit through the App has been brilliant and so reassuring given none of her family live locally.
I would highly recommend Alina Homecare Poole as a provider of professional and personalised care and who offer a full range of services that can be introduced as needed.

Overall Experience

We were lucky enough to have Alina Homecare as mum's carers for two months before she was placed into a care home. From the moment we met the manager the standard of homecare went up and this business sets the standard for homecare (we have experienced two others previously which were poor). The manager

is very clear at the initial engagement in terms of what you can expect and she leads the team brilliantly to do that. My mum has mixed dementia and needs a great deal of skill to manage her care, especially in terms of personal hygiene and medication. Unlike other care companies, mum had only two carers to focus on (both with the same name) which made a huge difference. Both of them were first class with mum as she can be difficult, rude and challenging. They dealt with her brilliantly and their attention to detail was really impressive. They kept us informed as well if mum was not co-operative with meals or medication for example.
Highly recommend Alina Homecare...first class care company.

Overall Experience

The carers are always cheerful, polite and willing to carry out whatever tasks are requested.
They engage with my wife and encourage her as well as assisting her mobility when required to do so.
They suggest ways of doing things which we have not thought of.
My wife has been in hospital since the

end of January to the present but I have been happy to continue their presence as they give great support to me by doing the day to day jobs around the house. This allows me to to go shopping, visit my wife in hospital and frees me from those tasks which would prove tiring and inconvenient under the present circumstances.

Albeit short and sweet, only 2 weeks while my mother took a holiday with us, I can not fault the care and attention she received while here from the staff at Alina Homecare. Overall Experience

We are new clients and are very happy with the care given to my father. When there is a change in carer/time we are always advised.
The friendly office staff are always ready to help and when we had an issue this was dealt with.

The care provided although only for a short time was exceptional. From the first meeting to providing end-of-life care they went above and beyond. My mother was urgently admitted into hospital following a fall at home. This left my father at home on his own, not able to fully cope. Alina carers already came in each day for an hour but this needed to drastically increase to all day. Alina took everything off my hands in terms of quickly and

effectively ensuring that carers went in to see my father from first thing in the day to bedtime. Carers were very responsive to Dad's requests and needs in a very respectful way and took him to see Mum in hospital regularly. She was in hospital for 2 weeks. Throughout this time, I was in constant contact with Alina about care for Dad, but also to arrange care for Mum on coming out of hospital. Alina was superb and a lifeline. Since then, they have continued to provide good care for Mum and Dad, although the hours needed are not as intense now. Alina staff are always easy to get hold of and helpful with any issues swiftly resolved. I would very much recommend them.

Wonderful, caring companion carers for my mother who suffers from Dementia. We needed some support with care for my mother and contacted Alina Homecare to see what they could offer, we haven't looked back. Mum has settled onto her weekly visits and is happy with her care.
