Alina Homecare Colchester

We have been using Alina for several months now to provide home care for our Mum and Dad who, at 92 and still living in their own home, need help with lots of things. Dad has Alzheimer's and Mum has poor eyesight so there are lots of challenges. As my sister and I are not local it's a great reassurance to know the excellent Alina team is there on a daily basis. The carers are all amazing and some in particular are just brilliant at dealing with Dad. No job is too much trouble even when he is being difficult. The team has helped our parents to stay as independent as possible, helping with shopping trips, appointments and other errands. Continuity was important for my parents and we see the same carers every week. Even when holidays force a change the replacements are always excellent. We have also had a few emergencies recently and the team has gone above and beyond to help out and keep our parents safe. Everything has been brilliant, thank you.

Can fully recommend this company. The carers were amazing with my mother who has dementia. They were respectful and kind and with a very high standard of care. The administration team were also great. Really easy to contact and kept me informed of any changes or concerns they may have. Access to an App also so you could see what care had been given that day which gave me piece of mind and I could see if there were issues raised by the carers.

A one in a million Care company! Alina Carers came to look after my Dad who has early dementia and my Mum who was recovering from a hip replacement for two months. Each of the Carers who came in could not do enough for my parents. They were so kind and just could not do enough for my parents, always with a cheerful attitude. I will not hesitate to use their services again when the time comes that my parents need more permanent care. Keep up the good work Alina!!

As for my carer. She is wonderful. Wuld trust her 100 percent.

We can not fault Alina Homecare at all, they always treated mum with the utmost respect no matter how bad things got at home and as our mum's needs changed they adapted without and issue what so ever. We plan on having mum return back home once a new build which meets her needs is finished and we will be having Alina back to look after her again. In the mean time one of mum's carer's has asked if she could visit mum in her temporary care home which made mum so happy to see a familiar face.

The team managers are also very nice helpful people and ready to make care adjustments short notice as needs change.

All the ladies are so friendly and my mum feels so much happier having them come to her. I would highly recommend them, nothing is too much trouble. Mum now has a live in carer and she loves having the company and someone to wake up to. Such a lovely lady, keeps her independence as much as possible.

I don't think every one of the ladies who helped my father were brilliant but the ones I encountered really were. The service was a life-saver and came with so much professionalism, compassion, care and understanding. I am very happy and grateful to the lovely people at Alina.

My mother enjoys the daily visits and catching up with the carers news given her some interest , they are always on time which is important , the app works well as we can see all is ok with my mum.

I am very pleased with the service and I am assured that when I am working or away my mother is looked after very well.

I could not have picked two more exemplary carers. The two who come to me complement each other's skills wonderfully. They have enhanced my life immeasurably, and I cannot praise them enough. They willingly carry out any task I ask of them.

It would not have been possible for my dad to have spent his final 8 months in the comfort of his own home without the exceptional care from all the carers from Alina Homecare who looked after him with unwavering dignity, kindness and patience. They also supported my mum with gentle compassion during a very difficult time. The manager and staff in the office were always there for us and were happy to answer any questions we had. If things got tough they would reassure and support us.

I chose Alina because of the excellent reviews and am so glad I made the right choice - right from the initial assessment to the individual carers and the reassurance of being able to access the app and know that there would always be someone at the end of the phone if needed. Mum is now almost able to look after herself, but she has insisted on keeping on with the visits because she likes chatting with the carers so much and appreciates the reassurance they provide! I have been struck by their professionalism, sympathetic and understanding attitude and their kindness. Thank you: what a wonderful team!

When my 92-year-old mother came out of hospital after an operation on her hand she was determined to maintain her independence. Unfortunately, as a result of surgery, she had lost the ability to care for or look after herself and was unable to perform the very simplest of tasks without assistance. From the very first phone call, we found all the staff at Alina Homecare to be very professional, respectful and very thorough. Mum has built a rapport with each of the carers and now really looks forward to their visits. Over a very short period of time, the carers have helped to restore her confidence and very gradually she is starting to regain some of her independence back. As a family, we would not hesitate in recommending Alina's services to anyone considering bringing carers into their homes.
