They genuinely care for my husband and do whatever they can to make him feel at ease, respected, safe and happy. I feel relief when Alina arrives as I know we are in safe hands, and I feel relief knowing that they will support us on the rest of the dementia journey.

Nothing was too much effort for the carers, and they still found time to comfort and console Dad when he needed it. Alina also provided information and guidance on how the care package should be adjusted to suit Dad's changing needs. This was my first experience with a care company, and I must say, they have been amazing. Every single staff member who cared for my mum has been exceptional; they are very warm and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them as a company.

We were very pleased to find Alina Homecare when our dad had had several falls and we had covid and could not care for him. They came to the rescue and have cared for him ever since. We like the fact that generally, Dad has the same three or four carers so he doesn’t have to keep getting used to new ones. They treat him with great respect and if we have to change a carers time for whatever reason, I would have no hesitation to phone Alina who are always very obliging to satisfy our needs. Alina care started with me following my discharge from hospital after several weeks in Critical Care. I found the carers were very professional, kind, caring and encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble. It was good to have the same two carers (other than due to holiday or sickness). It was great to nominate the time that you wanted and they always arrived exactly on time. Having now stopped having care due to the progress I have made, it is like missing friends calling.

I chose Alina Homecare for my mother when I was in a bit of a panic and wasn't 100% sure if it was the right choice. However, the company exceeded any expectations that I had. They are not only professional, and with a wealth of knowledge that was backed up by great teamwork, but I know that they actually loved my mum and she loved them too. They cared for her right up until the end of her life and were always available to us for advice, or even just a friendly hug. I recommend them 100%.

My parents had a fall in August 2021 and were suddenly in need of care at home. The manager and her colleague visited to meet my parents and gather information about them and their health, and to explain in detail about the services they were able to offer. It was a period of considerable adjustment for my parents who had been living independently. From October, my father's health was deteriorating rapidly and carers were visiting four times a day. My father wanted to stay at home and, with the help and support of the carers, this was possible. The carers' detailed reports were very helpful; in addition, the manager would follow up on any issues of concern. The level of care changed according to my father's needs and, as he approached end of life, the manager and her team were excellent; they were considerate and understanding, and provided emotional support for the whole family. We are grateful that my mother continues to have a morning visit from the carers.

Mum lives in the Brightlingsea area and was in respite care when we approached Alina Homecare Colchester about the possibility of them providing care at mums home address. Alina Homecare Colchester were very thorough in their preparation work by going to the care home to discuss with mum and myself and my brother what mum's likes, dislikes and needs are. I really liked their considerate approach towards mum. They had in mind several carers to call on mum who they felt mum would respond to. After mum was at home for a little while they reviewed how the care package was working and if any adjustments were needed. We have found Alina Homecare Colchester provide really good feedback to myself and my brother who lives abroad, so he feels more connected and involved in mum's care as well. Alina Homecare Colchester has provided mum with support and a level of independence to continue living at home for as long as possible.

I have been very impressed with the standard of service provided by Alina Homecare, and with the care and attention to detail with which it has been delivered. Carers have written detailed reports during and after each visit, which are available to nominated relatives on an app. These reports have provided reassurance as well as flagging up any issues that need to be addressed. Any of these that were judged to be urgent have been efficiently and expeditiously handled by the Branch Manager. Communications between myself and the Branch Manager have been exemplary. The carers themselves are friendly and quick to respond to anything out of the ordinary: for example, my mother realized in one occasion that she had run out of some essential supplies, so the carer on duty responded by doing some emergency shopping. Above all, my mother has established a very good relationship with all the carers on her rota. I have no hesitation in recommending Alina Homecare.

From day one the manager and the team made moving into the world of homecare simple. She explained the process and made sure we all knew how it worked and what to expect. The team were caring and kind, whilst providing the care and help required. No job was too big and everything was completed with respect and dignity. This was a whole new world for us as a family and the team made it a simple one to navigate. We can’t thank them enough.

Mum used this agency for 4 months. We have been happy with the care she was given. On occasions, it went above and beyond, especially from the manager. Sometimes she did have to wait as the window for a visit is quite wide but they always attended and stayed longer if required.

The fact that my wife eagerly looks forward to her morning visits from Alina Homecare carers speaks volumes. I have sincere gratitude to the Manager and her team for the outstanding care provided. They are always extremely caring, dedicated, compassionate, and proactive. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. I have been particularly impressed with the manner of the personal and physical care provided to my wife. It has certainly made life much easier for me during these difficult times and to see my wife smiling at the end of the visit makes the right start to the day. Perhaps wrong to pick out an individual but her most regular carer seemed to bond instantly. An impressive organisation that I rate very highly and they have my sincere thanks for an excellent service.
