On December 28th I was rushed into hospial at 4.30am with a severe life-threatening condition. It transpired that I had pneumonia, pleurisy and nasty flu virus. I have a CRT pacemaker, respiratory problems and I am also a Hemiplegic. So, I am quite fragile! I spent approximately 48 hours under observation
in hospital, as I was at risk the hospital said I would be safer at home than in the hospital which was suffering with various viruses etc. At this time, I was unable to walk or do anything for myself. My wife who is 77 could understandably not cope with me. We then contacted Grace Care 24/7. Over the next approximately 12 weeks they nursed me back to health. Two carers came in every morning and every evening. All the carers were kind and made me feel at ease, in fact they were like old friends! From not being able to walk or dress myself, after about 12 weeks I was independent. My wife and I could not have managed without their help. Thank you all at Grace Care.

Both of the carers who have assisted my brother have been kind and caring. They are also very conscientious. The only slight problem is that in the evening they are occasionally late but maybe it's my fault and I should have asked for an earlier time slot.
