After experiencing carer burnout, I contacted Meloosha to gain support with caring for my elderly grandfather who lives with me. From the very beginning, I have felt listened to and supported. The carer goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care for my grandfather, which has made a real difference
to both of us.
This support has not only given my grandfather excellent care, but it has also allowed me to have some much-needed respite, helping me to feel recharged and reassured that he is in safe hands.

My mum has recently began receiving Care from Meloosha in Musselburgh. From the very first day it has been very encouraging. The manager came to the house to discuss the package of care. She was friendly and knowledgeable and immediately put me at ease. The carers have all arrived on time and delivered
excellent care at a very high standard. They are lovely with my mum - even when she is not being lovely - and nothing is too much trouble. I can go to my work feeling confident about my mum's safety and know she is being well looked after.

Meloosha East Lothian have been fantastic in providing care to both my Mother and Father, each with their own complex needs. Their carers are kind, hard-working and considerate of my parents' needs and have responded brilliantly whenever challenges have arisen. Equally, management have been extremely
visible, contactable, and quick to react to changing circumstances, getting new care arrangements in place remarkably quickly and fitting them around my parent's needs. In particular, they have considered them as people in need of help, and as a family unit, who's care needs to be joined up with one another's, rather than just as individual customers to whom they provide a set service. We would have been in a far worse situation were in not for Meloosha's care and attention over the last few months.

This is still very early in my being cared for career, but I am happy with the care and attention I receive from my carer. She is patient, attentive and ready to explain at any time what she is doing and why she is doing it. Safety is her highest priority and this shows in her explanations, and her
actions. She uses humour appropriately and presents as a thoughtful and skilled worker.
