With nearly two decades of experience in the care sector, Sister Osa brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and compassion to Newbirth Care. Coming from a family of caregivers, her passion for care was inspired by her mother, who dedicated over 25 years to supporting others and making a difference in countless lives.

Osa began her own journey in care in 2006, working as a domiciliary carer while studying at university. Over the years, she progressed through a variety of frontline roles — including healthcare assistant, rehabilitation support worker, maternity support worker, and community carer — before qualifying as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in 2012.

Her career has spanned short-term and long-term care, rehabilitation, maternity services, and end-of-life care, giving her a holistic understanding of the challenges faced by families and individuals.

At Newbirth Care, Osa leads with the belief that exceptional care is built on kindness, compassion, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Her vision is to ensure that every service user experiences dignity, respect, and person-centred care — values that remain at the heart of the organisation.

Itohan Edobor is the Clinical Lead at Newbirth Care, bringing with her over 20 years of nursing and healthcare experience. She has dedicated her career to supporting patients across a variety of complex care settings, working both within the NHS and in community-based services.

Her professional background spans a wide range of clinical environments, including:

Community Nursing – delivering high-quality, person-centred care directly in patients’ homes.

Accident & Emergency (A&E) – providing urgent and responsive treatment in fast-paced acute settings.

Elderly Outpatients – supporting older patients with chronic conditions, rehabilitation, and ongoing care needs.

Urgent Assessment Units – assessing, triaging, and planning care for patients requiring rapid intervention.

Itohan holds a degree in Nursing and is a fully registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Throughout her career, she has continually developed her skills through clinical practice, leadership, and mentoring. She has a strong track record of ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care, as well as supporting teams to deliver against regulatory and clinical standards.

At Newbirth Care, Itohan oversees all aspects of clinical governance, care quality, and staff training. She ensures that our services not only meet but exceed the expectations of service users, families, and regulatory bodies. Her blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and dedication to compassionate care makes her an invaluable member of our leadership team.

Outside of her clinical responsibilities, Itohan is passionate about developing future healthcare professionals, sharing her knowledge, and championing best practice across the organisation.

Nick Prewett is an accomplished Business Development and Sales Leader with over 25 years’ experience steering growth in banking, financial services, and commercial organisations. Known for his energy, strategic mindset, and ability to spot opportunities, Nick has built a career on forging strong partnerships and inspiring teams to deliver results.

In 2025, he brought this expertise to Newbirth Care (Figtree Blossom Ltd), stepping into the role of Business Development Manager. His mission is clear: to expand partnerships, secure new contracts, and help drive the organisation’s long-term vision in the care sector. With a passion for growth and a sharp eye for strategy, Nick plays a central role in positioning Newbirth Care for the future.

He thrives on building trust, engaging stakeholders, and creating solutions that benefit both clients and communities. Outside of work, Nick’s competitive streak continues — whether it’s cheering on Sheffield Wednesday, playing football midweek, or following the latest F1 Grand Prix. He’s also an avid music lover and brings his passion to the airwaves as host of his own Saturday morning radio show. These pursuits reflect his enthusiasm, energy, and love of connecting with people, both in and out of the workplace.
