Amy’s journey into home care began long before she joined Visiting Angels. Trained as a physiotherapist at the University of Witwatersrand, she spent years helping people recover from surgery and manage chronic conditions, supporting them not just physically, but emotionally too.

Running her own physiotherapy practice in Johannesburg, she saw firsthand how deeply personal care can shape someone’s quality of life.

That experience sparked a passion for care that goes beyond the clinic. Amy understands how much it matters to feel safe, respected, and supported at home, especially during vulnerable times. As Care Director at Visiting Angels North Kent, she brings that insight into every decision, making sure care is always tailored, dignified, and rooted in empathy.

She’s also a firm believer in the power of a confident, well-supported care team and works closely with carers to ensure they feel valued, empowered, and heard.
