As a family with our father in hospital recovering, we contacted a few local care homes and private care companies. GoodOaks stood out from the immediate offset, after receiving a phonecall from a fantastic member of their staff. Our family were made to feel that they could count on the professionalism and the care that our father would require moving forward. GoodOaks staff, mobilized from one moment to the next, they went to meet, & assess our father at the hospital where he was localized. We met with staff, and discussed the future possibilities and for GoodOaks to setup a care package for our father. This was compiled and sent to us rapidly, as they knew that we wanted our father out of the hospital as quick as possible, and into a more relaxed environment. We were given various care option packages for our father however, in the end it made sense for us to place dad in 24h care as this is where he would be better off in his current situation. If things change, they will be called!

My regular carers, Giovanna and Sai, provide daily care which is sensitive to my needs and respectful. I hugely appreciate the kindness they show me. They too often go 'above and beyond' and give me a quality of life I would never have thought possible a few months ago.

I have been thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the service provided by GoodOaks. The entire team is consistently compassionate, thoughtful, and willing to go above and beyond to help. They are proactive in suggesting additional ways they can support us, often identifying needs we had not even considered ourselves. I live overseas when I was back in the uk visiting my 84 year old father, I had a very short time limit to find him the Care that he needed, I had look at a couple of care providers and I found Goodoaks care extremely helpful they managed to. Find my father the right Care he needed in a short space of time and I got to help choose the right carer how will be caring for my him, which put my mind at ease when I returned home . Lisa now is the registered manager was amazing extremely helpful throughout this experience. And alwasy put my father at ease Ever when she visited us she is always at the end of the phone when my father or I need her. I am a care support worker myself and have been for over 30 years I know how important it is to put your loved ones into great care and would highly recommend Goodoaks care

Very professional, kind and helpful service. Collette is brilliant - a very special person who has supported me with warmth and confidence.and initiative. We have been to the hairdresser, for lunch, to the hospital where my daughter (who really likes Collette) has had a difficult birthing experience and mundane houseework. Collette is up for anything and I couldn't manage without her.

We have been with Good Oaks home care for over a month now and both my mum and I are so happy . A lot of care was taken to get to know my mum and her needs and the primary carer assigned to her couldn't have been a better match . The companionship that my mum has got already is better than I could have hoped for .

GoodOaks were excellent in tailoring a package to support me in my recovery from a hip replacement operation. They identified a suitably experienced individual to get me up and running each morning and also carry out some domestic chores to take some pressure off my wife. GoodOaks have been flexible and understanding throughout.

GoodOaks were thorough and considerate in tailoring a package to support me and my husband following his hip replacement surgery. The carer was suitably experienced and immediately established a rapport with my husband in getting him up and running each morning. The help provided relieved much of the pressure I had felt in dealing with his lack of mobility immediately following the operation and I only wish we had had the package in place to take effect as soon as he was discharged. GoodOaks have also been accommodating and understanding about changes to our package that arose when my husband was unexpectedly hospitalised for 10 days with problems unrelated to his hip surgery.

Having used this service for several weeks I wanted to leave a review. My mother-in-law, who had dementia, has settled really well with the carers provided and it has made her feel very safe and able to stay in her own home, which is so important to her and us as a family. I would not hesitate to recommend using this company for your caring needs as they are so friendly, kind and professional.
